Each New Day Brings Another Island To Explore Set sail from Mykonos and explore the wonderful islands of Santorini, Naxos and Koufonisi amongst others before sailing back into Mykonos at the end of your first week. Explore the vibrant cosmopolitan island of Mykonos before leaving the yacht or, better still, continue for a second week of sailing. From here we will visit the islands of Schinoussa, Paros and Folegandros to name but a few, before sailing back towards Mykonos.

A Voyage Of Discovery After a day on the water with the wind in your hair, enjoy a sun-downer on deck before exploring the local area. We like to reach harbour in the afternoon so there’s plenty of time to relax, go sightseeing or swimming before choosing a waterside taverna for dinner. Sample the local specialities, which vary from island to island and make this a voyage of culinary discovery as well as exploring the historical and cultural delights of these beautiful islands.
All adventures run Saturday to Saturday with guests embarking from 16.00 onwards at the beginning of their stay and disembarking around 9.00 the following Satuday.
The itinerary is indicative, the skipper and the weather forecast will decide the best order in which each island will be visited.

Day1
Mykonos
Arrivals and Departures. This unique island oozes chic and traditional charm in equal measure. Mykonos is one of the most popular islands in the Aegean and this island paradise has great beaches, great shopping, fabulous food and endless nightlife.
Day2
Paros
Paros, lying to the south-west of Mykonos, is relatively low-lying by Cycladic standards. Parakia is our usual stop here, and for those with a urge to explore, seek out the Church of 100 doors, where Christianity and Greek mythology meet.
Day3
Naxos
Naxos is the largest and most fertile island in the Cyclades. The Main town is fascinating, and the winding back streets are peppered with artisan boutiques and family run tavernas.
Day4
Koufonisi
From the largest to the smallest….Koufonisi offers unspoiled natural beauty, crystal clear emerald waters and a chance to experience the lesser Cyclades in all their glory.
Day5
Santorini
Santorini is probably the most photographed destination in the Mediterranean, and sailing through the caldera is a breathtaking experience.
Day6
Ios
Ios has been popular with back-packers, hippies and a vibrant alternative scene still exists on this island, also famed for some great watersports beaches. Visit the (supposed!) tomb of Homer – buried her after being unceremoniously dumped from a passing ship!

Paros - Mykonos
Naoussa on the north of the island is our favourite – great chill out bars and a beautiful little fishing harbour as the backdrop to the sunset.

Our Ocean Star 51.1 is an ideal yacht to explore the wonderful Cycladic Islands in the Aegean Sea.
The yacht is equipped with modern navigation and safety equipment and is licensed as a professional charter yacht. Accommodation comprises 4 double guest cabins with en suite shower/wc, plus a seperate crew cabin. There is a spacious and comfortable saloon with dining table and the saloon and cabins are equipped with electric fans. There is a well equipped galley and also a CD player (with aux input). Deck facilities include cockpit table, cockpit cushions, deck speakers, bimini top (sun shade) , spray hood, swimming platform and deck shower. There is ample space for sun bathing on the foredeck, when conditions permit. Other equipment includes a dinghy and outboard engine, plus a paddle board and snorkelling equipment for clients use.

Mykonos International Airport has flights from a wide range of European destinations along with connecting flights from Athens International for those traveling from further afield.

Ferry
There are regular ferries to Piraeus (Athens) with some under 3 hours along with connections to most of the Cyclades Islands. The ferry port is a 5 minute walk from the yacht base.
Bus & Taxi
There are regular buses all over the island of Mykonos including from the main town (Chora) to the new port. Taxis from the airport to the new port take 20 minutes.
