Stretching along the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula the Amalfi coast is one of the Mediterranean most breathtaking coastline. Declared one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites for its undisputed beauty and the uniqueness of its natural landscape, the Amalfi Coast is characterised by the combination between mountain and sea.

The mountain plunges steeply into a sea, creating charming coves, deep fjords, cliffs, caverns, bays, natural arches and small pebble beaches. The roads hug the tight curves of the cliffy coast overlooking blue water that merges with the sky in one vast blue horizon; typical houses, painted in warm pastel colors, follow the natural slope of the foothills, creating very picturesque “postcard“ villages.

A highlight of the Amalfi coast vacation is a visit to Capri. The glamorous seaside getaway is an enchanting and picturesque island made of limestone rock on which herds of goat once used to roam (giving the name to the island). Once, a pleasure spot to Roman emperors and now Italy most glamorous seaside getaway.

The Egadi Islands are located just in front of the most western point of Sicily just a few kilometers from Trapani.

The Egadi archipelago includes three main islands, Favignana (la major), Levanzo (la minor) and Marettimo, and two great rocks, Maraone and Formica, that emerge from the blue waters of the Tyrrhenian, a few miles from Trapani.

The limpid waters and the fascinating coasts, the small reliefs, the bays, the caves, and then the particular call of the tonnara (one of the few survivors in the world), make the Egadi a popular tourist destination and seaside. to the Egadi Islands to discover the beautiful Sicilian islands from the sea. This wonderful group of islands is divided into Gimnesias (Mallorca, Menorca and Cabrera) in the North, and Pitiusas (Ibiza and Formentera) in the South-West. Their excellent climate with some 300 days of sun per year, wonderful beaches, a rich cultural offer and the hospitality of their inhabitants make Balearic Islands one of the preferred holiday destinations. Each of the islands has a strong personality all of its own, and each of them offers much more but the possibility to spend nice holidays at the beach ...visiting the archipelago by boat allows you to explore hidden bays accessible only by the sea and to swim in crystal water and beautiful underwater landscapes without renouncing to the amazing amusements and nightlife.

Majorca Is the "major" of the islands. La Ciutat, as the Mallorquines call their capital Palma de Mallorca, will impress you from the moment you arrive to its port: yachts, palms, the cathedral, the "Paseo del Borne", heart of the historical center and one of the most lively streets in town... Palma creates magic: History and modernity melt together with the deep blue of Mediterranean sea.

Mallorca's wonderful climate, beautiful landscapes as well as its cosmopolitan ambience make it a privileged holiday resort, with a cultural offer comparable to the one of many European capitals. At Mallorca, you will find relaxation, inspiration, culture and entertainment...and all the time along the seaside, you will see its amazing beaches: Playa d'Es Trenc, a 3 km white-sand Caribbean-like beach, El Arenal and its waterfront with palms and chiringuitos and Formentor, dipped in the nature and with green emerald water.

2007 Beneteau First 47.7

The all new Beneteau First 47.7 combines a sleek and sophisticated racer with all the comforts of a luxurious cruiser.

The all new Beneteau First 47.7 combines a sleek and sophisticated racer with all the comforts of a luxurious cruiser. Her Bruce Farr designed hull and powerful rig provide excellent performance, whether you're in a hurry or just cruising. She is available bareboat, please add 100 euro for the end of week cleaning.

The cockpit is wide (too wide to brace your feet on the opposite seat) and well arranged for cruising with a pair of Lewmars sunk into each coaming (a 58 primary and 48 aft), which should easily handle even the largest headsail. The helmsman's office is notable for an immense wheel that allows the skipper to sit on the teak-side deck either side of him or use the scalloped bench seat across the transom. Three cockpit lockers (one of which is dedicated to store fuel) provide ample storage, and the boom is so high that even the tallest sailor can stand on the cockpit seats with impunity. All the sail controls lead to Lewmar 44s with Spinlock stoppers at the forward end of the cockpit.

The rest of the deck is highlighted by excellent non-slip surfaces wherever you might step (including on the side of the cabin, for use when heeled) and built-in Dorade vents in blister mounts with protective guards. The deck is encircled by double lifelines with gates on each side and aft and a varnished mahogany toe rail. The anchor locker forward holds an electric windlass and, just aft, a separate sail locker easily holds spare sails or a deflated tender. At the transom, a fold-down platform is teak-planked and perfect for swimming or boarding the tender. A folding swim platform retracts easily conforming to the sleek lines of the boat when on the move.

The First 47.7 is also fully equipped for comfortable cruising. The plush interior offers many exquisite details. The warm tones of cherry stained interior greet you as you enter the salon and there is plenty of ventilation accented by the 6'4" feet of headroom. Luxurious appointments such as handrails sheathed in leather, a gimbaled salon table that can be tilted when heeling, and companionway steps framed with aluminium create a unique atmosphere of beauty and intimacy. All of these details are designed specifically to meet the high demands of the sophisticated Beneteau sailor. There are 4 large berths, hanging closets, and functional lighting. There are 2 twin bunk rooms forward and 2 double cabins aft. The nav station faces forward with a large chart table and cubby hole storage for charts and instruments. The galley is fully equipped with a large front-loading refrigerator, 3-burner stove, and loads of counter space. All of this is combined with custom cabinetry and the exceptional interior joinery that is the Beneteau signature.

Undersail , this is a fun boat, although it's neither an easy singlehander nor a ma-and-pa boat, because there's a lot of sail to trim. But it's light and responsive on the helm, knocking off eight knots in a 15 knot breeze
