Reviews

This was one of the most enriching trips I’ve ever taken. Sailing around the Egadi Islands gave us both adventure and rest. I loved the mix of water activities and time to explore the villages. Marettimo’s sea caves were a highlight for me—it felt like entering a private, blue-lit cathedral. The crew gave us space but was always there when we needed help or suggestions. On the boat, I felt safe and cared for, even though I had no sailing experience. I also appreciated how everyone on board found their own rhythm—some read, some fished, some danced under the stars. I even learned to tie a few knots! At night, sleeping with the gentle rocking of the sea and waking up to sunrises over quiet bays was something I’ll always carry with me. I didn’t just visit Sicily—I lived it, fully.

From the moment we left Palermo, I felt something shift. Life slowed down, conversations deepened, and every day felt like a gift. The rhythm of sailing allowed us to truly disconnect, and the islands gave us a mix of calm coves and cultural gems. I especially loved the swim in Cala Fredda and our quiet evening walk in Levanzo—it felt like we were alone in the world. On board, the shared meals and the gentle motion of the boat made even small moments feel special. I had never slept at anchor before, and I’ll never forget the silence and the stars in Marettimo. The whole experience felt human and intimate. If you’re looking for a way to reconnect—with nature, with people, with yourself—this kind of trip is exactly what you need. I already miss the sea breeze.

Sailing the Egadi Islands felt like discovering a secret Sicily. I’ve visited the island before, but seeing it from the sea gave me a whole new appreciation. Each stop had its own personality—Favignana was bright and lively, Marettimo wild and remote, and Levanzo just magical. The highlight for me was stargazing from the deck anchored off Levanzo. No noise, no light, just the sea and sky. On land, I loved the couscous in San Vito Lo Capo and walking through Marettimo village, where time feels like it’s paused. The crew was professional but also warm and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy every moment. Everything flowed without stress or pressure. For someone who usually likes road trips, this was a completely new and beautiful way to move and live. I’d recommend it to anyone—even first-time sailors.
