She is the flag ship of Ocean Yachts and is unique as she is the only one in her class..The Ocean Yachts design team has created this magnificent craft and the Ocean Star 60.1 . Following the lines of the existing Ocean Star 56.1, the new model is larger, with a larger sail area while still preserving strength and sturdiness, the features that have made the Ocean Star yachts so popular! The new Ocean Star 60.1 is 5.15m wide and makes sailing easy for the prospective owners with winches and electronic equipment strategically positioned for short handed cruising. The charter version has 6 cabins, two double forward and two double aft. and a double crew cabin with independent head, at the bow. Tankage and storage in the Ocean Star 60.1 is exceptional with water capacity of 1300lt and fuel capacity of 650lt. She also boasts of a 3 spreader mast, total sail area of 179m2 and self tacking jib furling.

About Us
Poseidon Charters is a family run business and we're very proud that for over 20 years we've been the operator of our unique Greek sailing tours and flotilla in Greece. For the past 10 years we have also developed our flotilla and cabin charter in Croatia.
In the early 1990's the owner of Poseidon Charters left University and set off to backpack around Europe. The majority of his time was spent in Greece, while there, he took an upaid job as crew on a yacht and in that first summer he saw 15 or so islands. After returning to Greece the next year and the year after that he finally realised that his career would be in the yachting industry rather than Communication Studies! Over 20 years later, at the company's core is still a deep love for all things sailing, Greece, it's islands and people.
These days, we are an operator of our own sailing cabin charter and flotilla in Greece, as well as a bonded licensed travel agency specializing in yacht charter, cabin charters, flotillas and mini-cruises. We only offer destinations where we have first hand sailing and travel knowledge and our excellent personalized service, diverse range of boats and destinations and longevity have allowed us to gain great standing in the yacht charter and travel market place. Some programs we operate ourselves, others are run by large and small operators whom we know, trust and have represented for years. Working directly with trusted owners and operators each summer has enabled us to build our own fleet of well-appointed affordable yachts available for charter in Greece at discounted prices.
We operate our cabin charter and flotilla programs May through October in Greece and Croatia. Our administrative office is in Canada and is open year-round.
