A circular cabin charter sailing holiday from Lefkada through the southern Ionian Islands, exploring Meganisi, Ithaca, Kefalonia and Sivota in sheltered waters with a professional crew on board.
The cruise departs from Lefkas Marina in Lefkada and follows a circular route south through the inner Ionian Islands, moving between Meganisi, Ithaca and Kefalonia before returning north to Sivota and back to the starting point at the end of the week.
Daily sailing legs stay short and relaxed, with the sheltered Ionian channels providing calm conditions for most of the route and reliable afternoon breezes making for comfortable sailing between anchorages. The Ionian is one of the most accessible sailing areas in the Mediterranean, with protected bays, short passages and a landscape that alternates between lush green hillsides and clear turquoise water throughout the week.
The islands carry distinct characters. Meganisi, just offshore from Lefkada, is known for its quiet bays and traditional villages. Ithaca, the legendary home of Odysseus in Greek mythology, has a coastline of deeply indented inlets and wooded ridges, with the harbor town of Vathy among the most photogenic in the Ionian. Kefalonia adds a broader and more varied landscape, from the underground lake of Melissani Cave to the sandy sweep of Myrtos Beach and the Venetian harbor of Fiskardo at the island's northern tip.
Sivota on Lefkada rounds out the route with a horseshoe-shaped bay lined with waterfront tavernas, a natural gathering point before the final return to the marina. Porto Katsiki, reachable by boat and known for its dramatic white cliffs above turquoise water, adds one last distinctive stop to the week.
Days begin with breakfast on deck before the morning sail, with swim stops timed around the midday heat and afternoon arrivals leaving time ashore before dinner. Evenings are spent either in a local taverna or on deck at anchor, with the pace shifting between livelier harbor towns and quieter anchorages throughout the week.

Day1
Boarding in Lefkada
Check-in takes place at Lefkas Marina at 5pm, with a welcome from the crew before settling into the cabins. The first evening is spent in or near the marina, with time to explore the surrounding area before the cruise begins the following morning.
Day2
Lefkada to Spartochori, Meganisi
After breakfast, the boat sails toward Meganisi and the harbor of Spartochori, a traditional village with a waterfront known for its clear water and relaxed tavernas. The afternoon includes a swim stop before arrival, with the evening spent dining ashore on fresh seafood and Greek cuisine.
Day3
Meganisi to Vathy, Ithaca
An early departure sails past the Blue Caves of Lefkada, a series of sea caves carved into the island's western cliffs, with a stop for a swim before continuing to Tilemachos Beach and on to Vathy, the main harbor of Ithaca. The town is built around a deep fjord-like bay, with the evening free for a walk through the historic center, drinks at a local bar or dinner at a waterfront taverna.

Vathy to Sami, Kefalonia
After a morning swim and breakfast in a sheltered bay, the boat continues to Sami on the eastern coast of Kefalonia. The day includes the option to visit Melissani Cave, an underground lake lit by natural light through an opening in the ceiling, or to head further along the coast to Myrtos Beach. The evening is free to explore Sami's tavernas and waterfront.

Sami to Fiskardo, Kefalonia
A relaxed day moves along the Kefalonian coast to Fiskardo, the most architecturally distinctive harbor on the island, its Venetian-era buildings left largely intact by the 1953 earthquake that reshaped most of Kefalonia. The afternoon is free for exploring the village, swimming at White Pebble Beach or trying paddleboarding nearby, with dinner at one of the harbor restaurants.

Fiskardo to Porto Katsiki and Sivota, Lefkada
Sailing north, the route passes Porto Katsiki, a beach below dramatic white cliffs on Lefkada's western coast, best approached from the water for a swim. The afternoon continues to Sivota, a sheltered bay on Lefkada's southern coast, known for its circular waterfront of restaurants and bars, where the evening is spent before the final return to Lefkada.
Day7
Return to Lefkada and Disembarkation
The final morning includes short swim stops at scenic bays along the Lefkada coast, including the area near Papa Nikolas Cave, before returning to Lefkas Marina. The last evening is spent at a local taverna near the marina. Disembarkation takes place the following morning.
