Sailboat Vacations from Barcelona to Ibiza and Formentera

Mediterranean Sailing Holidays to Ibiza and Formentera

A adventure starting from Barcelona for a sailing vacation on board a gorgeous Bavaria 50.

One week on board a beautiful 14 m sailboat. Total comfort, with 4 cabins, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room to discover the beauty of the Mediterranean and Ibiza & Formentera from the sea.

Dolphins, sunsets, stars, white sand coves and turquoise water await you, as well as the most glamorous beach bars in Ibiza & Formentera.

This Mediterranean Sailing Holidays is parting from Port Olimpic de Barcelona every Saturday.

Itinerary

Day 1
Saturday - Port Olimipic de Barcelona
We meet at the Port Olimpic in Barcelona at 11 am. Presentations are made, our Captain / Skipper will explain all the details of the trip. We will receive the purchase that we have previously made online (and that they will bring us to the ship), we organize and stow everything, distribute the cabins and set sail south tumbling.
Day 2
Sunday - North Ibiza
We have arrived in the North of Ibiza. The first landfall will be in Es Caló des Porcs for the first swim in turquoise waters, surrounded by pine trees and nature. Later we will look for anchoring in Cala Benirras, famous for a genuine Ibizan show that begins with the sunset; the festival of the Hippies drums.
Day 3
Monday - Es Vedrà and Blue Marlin Beach Club
Sailing through the west of Ibiza to the Comte beaches, a place of spectacular beauty due to the color of its waters, we will continue south through Cala Tarida, the legendary islet of Es Vedrà and visit Cala de Porroig. At sunset we will anchor in Cala Jondal, where the Blue Marlin is located, one of the most famous places in Ibiza where we can enjoy an atmosphere of Ibizan music, having a mojito or gin and tonic.
Day 4
Tuesday - Formentera
We arrive in Formentera, whose landscape is reminiscent of the Caribbean itself, and is considered one of the last paradises in the Mediterranean. We will visit Espalmador, Ses Illetes, Cala Saona. Natural spaces with beaches with incredible blue waters and fine white sand. We will eat at a beach bar, and at sunset, perhaps a mojito at Beso Beach, contemplating the impossible sunset of Formentera.
Day 5
Wednesday - Formentera: The beach parties!
We will visit the island by land by car or motorcycle. We will visit the villages of Formentera, Cap de Barberia, El Blue Bar in Mitjorn, we will eat at Es Caló de Sant Agustí. In the afternoon visit to the hippie market of La Mola and at dusk we will return to the ship.
Day 6
Thursday - Ibiza- Barcelona
Heading back to the island of Ibiza, we will continue north, stopping at the best coves to bathe and sunbathe. The last anchor will be in Tagomago, from where we will continue our journey to Barcelona. Friday - Disembarking day Back in Barcelona during the trip we will once again enjoy the immensity of the sea, the sunrise, swimming in the high seas and more dolphins. We will arrive at Port Olimpic in the early afternoon to end a dream week that you will always remember.

Travel organizer tips

What to pack
It is advised not to pack too many luggage, and if possible, a non-rigid suitcase. The most ideal would be a medium sized sports bag.

Shoes with white soles to walk on deck, and flipflops
Light waterproof jacket
Bathing suits, towel and multiple shirts
Sunscreen, sun caps and sunglasses
Toiletries
Casual clothing, one or two changes
The life on board
It is very important to maintain order on board, inside (personal items in common areas), on deck (cremes, towels, cameras, etc) and while sailing, to avoid accidents or items going overboard.

Try to save drinking water, the tanks are limited and it is preferable to moderate consumption (in the showers) than to have to go refill
To use the toilet, specific instructions have to be followed, and paper or any other thing must not be flushed, to avoid clogs.
As for the electric consumption; don’t leave any lights on, and charge phones during the day.
Try to avoid going on board with shoes from the street, therefore highly recommended to use a light shoe with white soles to avoid bashing your feet onto anything.
Eliminate sand from your feet and towels before going in after coming back from the beach.
Never enter while being wet, to avoid slips and accidents.
Use cremes (such as sunscreen) on top of a towel to avoid the deck from becoming slippery.
