Your sailing trip
Be part of an amazing sailing cruise in the enchanting Mergui Archipelago in the south of Myanmar and explore an untouched world.
This itinerary will make you discover some of the most hidden and remote islands of the Archipelago. You will also have the chance to visit Moken village and enjoy the best snorkeling spots.
When planning a sailing vacation the destination is the most important factor to take in consideration, so we want you to picture yourself walking along beautiful wide beaches edged by palm trees and a green jungle plants. Or immersed in a snorkeling adventure amid colourful fishes and dream of days spent collecting seashells on the shore with eagles diving above, gibbons watching from the thickets and monitor lizards sunbathing on the rocks, while a sundowner cocktail is being mixed for you by the crew on board the yacht anchored in Myanmar’s splendid waters. Best of all: you have this entire experience to yourself.
You can sail for days on end, enjoy your snorkeling cruise and not see a soul except the odd fisherman, most probably one of the traditional inhabitants of the Mergui Archipelago: the Moken, a people who live off, and on the sea.
Are you ready to start your sailing cruise in the most untouched and wild part of the world?
Are you ready to meet the Mokens? Sometimes called “sea- gypsies”, this ethnic minority group leads a traditional, semi- nomadic lifestyle, dominated by diving for sea cucumbers, fishing and bartering. Over the generations, they have adapted to their environment and developed incredible skills useful for a life lived partly underwater. Moken divers often descend to depths of more than 20 meters without oxygen tanks! Want to try and best them?

Yacht - Bruce Farr / Olivier Flahaut
The sailing yacht with her sophisticated exterior look and engineering is the work of Farr Yacht Design. She is a true high performance sailing yacht which combines excellent maneuverability, impressive speed, and 3 spacious guest cabins.
Her low draft winged keel allows close anchoring in many shallow bays, while a fully-battened main and roller furled foresail is the perfect setup for catching the consistent breeze.
Olivier Flahault coordinated exterior and interior spaces, creating a well-balanced practical design with the super yacht look and feel throughout the interior. She will delight the experienced sailor and novice alike with her strong sailing performance from a Maxi 78, her comfort and luxuries.
Cabins & Quarters
Upon entering the interior you will first notice how bright and well-lit the atmosphere is, which gives the area a very spacious feel. Mid-ship is her generously equipped saloon with two separate seating areas.
The very large owner's suite occupies the front section of the yacht and features a spacious kind-size bed, a large TV and a workspace, as well as a separate bathroom and toilet.
On starboard side, the spacious galley connects to the captain's cabin and navigational station to the saloon. The 2 spacious guest cabin on portside feature double beds which can be converted into separate twins. Each guest cabin has a private en-suite.

Travel organizer tips
If you are arriving from within Myanmar, you can book online and fly directly to Kawthaung Airport. We’d be more than happy to help you organise transportation and meet you at the airpor
Another option is to fly to Ranong Airport. There are daily flights from Bangkok by Nok Air. The airport is well served by local taxi drivers but we can also pick you up from Ranong Airport, of course.
Once you are in Ranong, you will take a longtail boat across the Pakchan River to Kawthaung on the Myanmar side, which takes about 30 minutes. We will help you with the immigration procedures before boarding the yacht.
Phuket International Airport is a convenient and well-connected place to fly to. From there, it’s a scenic 3 - 4-hour car ride to Ranong, the Thai border town. Here, too, we are happy to assist you.
No. The crew will take care of all the sailing for you while you enjoy your time aboard. Though if you are interested, you may get involved and learn how to sail during your trip!
Yes. Most travellers will get a visa- on-arrival in Myanmar and we will take care of the procedure when you enter the country while you relax or explore.
Yes, it is! There are no conflicts in our sailing area, nor are there any pirates. There is a mid- level malaria risk in
southern Myanmar and you should take precautions by using mosquito-repellent and wearing long sleeves and trousers if onshore at night (which you are unlikely to be much).
We think so. A few years things ago, things have started to fundamentally change in Myanmar and Aung San Suu Kyi has been released. She and her party now embrace individual and ethical tourism by travellers whose money does not go straight into the pockets of the generals. We are here to support just that.
You don’t need much. Bring your bathers, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, your camera and you’re pretty much set! It's best to also bring mosquito repellent and you may want to consider bringing anti-malaria tablets. Do remember to get a travel insurance before joining our cruise. On board, you won't need shoes but you can bring flip-flops or reef shoes for beach outings if you want. We provide full lodging, including
bedding, towels, all meals, water and soft drinks. We also provide fishing and snorkelling equipment and first-aid, if necessary.
The best time for sailing is between late October and end of April. You might want to avoid the rainy season which starts in May.
During daytime about 28-32°C. The water temperature will be about 26-29°C.
Our chefs specialise in Asian cuisine but also serve Western dishes. Six weeks prior to departure we ask all our guests about their preferences.
