Three Week Sailing Adventure from Savusavu to Nadi Exploring Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands
Experience a three week sailing adventure across the tropical waters of Fiji with an extended island hopping expedition through the Coral Sea. This unique South Pacific sailing journey begins in Savusavu Bay on Vanua Levu and concludes in Nadi on Viti Levu, navigating through coral reefs, remote islands and some of the most beautiful cruising grounds in Fiji.
Fiji offers an extraordinary mix of tropical landscapes, marine biodiversity and vibrant island culture. Throughout the voyage guests will explore remote islands, swim and snorkel in crystal clear lagoons and experience the relaxed rhythm of life in the South Pacific. The route passes through scenic channels and archipelagos including the Yasawa Islands and the Mamanuca Islands, two of the most iconic sailing regions in Fiji.
A highlight of the journey is the opportunity to interact with local communities and experience traditional Fijian culture. When visiting remote villages guests may participate in the Sevusevu ceremony, a traditional welcome ritual offered to village chiefs. Fijian culture is deeply rooted in hospitality, storytelling and communal gatherings often centered around the traditional kava ceremony.
The voyage also reveals the natural beauty of Fiji’s islands and coastal landscapes. Guests may visit locations such as Nakawaka Waterfall near Savusavu, hike through tropical rainforest trails, or explore scenic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding coral reefs. The island of Nananu i Ra is known for its pristine reefs, kite surfing conditions and wild coastal scenery.
Further along the route the expedition sails toward the spectacular Yasawa Islands. This remote chain of volcanic islands is famous for turquoise lagoons, white sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs that host an abundance of marine life. These waters offer excellent opportunities for snorkeling, diving and wildlife observation, including the occasional sighting of dolphins or whales.
The journey continues toward the Mamanuca Islands, where Malolo Island stands as one of Fiji’s most popular sailing hubs. The surrounding barrier reefs offer world class surfing spots, beautiful anchorages and panoramic viewpoints across the tropical island landscape. The nearby islands provide a perfect setting for relaxation, beach walks and sunset views over the Pacific Ocean.
Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the main island of Viti Levu. Stops around Nadi may include visits to local markets, cultural sites such as the Sri Siva Subramaniya temple, traditional villages like Navala, and natural attractions including the Sabeto hot springs, Sigatoka sand dunes and the famous Natadola Beach.
The sailing distance covers approximately two hundred fifty nautical miles, allowing for relaxed day sailing between islands and extended time at anchor to explore each destination. On board guests can also participate in optional activities such as sailing lessons, diving courses, cooking workshops and yoga sessions.
This Fiji sailing expedition offers an immersive journey through tropical islands, coral reefs and rich Pacific culture. Combining adventure, relaxation and exploration, it provides a rare opportunity to experience the diversity and beauty of Fiji while sailing through one of the most spectacular regions of the South Pacific.

She is crewed by a multicultural team with a contagiously positive vibe together with Captain Clemens Oestreich, who has skippered vessels for over 100,000 miles during the last 20 years, while raising his 5 children at sea. Infinity is built to be a world-traveling base for adventure and environmental work, forming a beautiful home with unique history and personality. The living quarters are designed with comfortable guest cabins and large communal spaces including an airy saloon, cinema, and extensive deck space. To date, over 200 crew members from all around the world have been part of many extraordinary adventures.
