Itinerary
Day1
Embarkation in Milazzo and Sailing to Vulcano Island
Boarding begins in the afternoon in the port of Milazzo with accommodation in the cabins, welcome drink and onboard briefing with the crew. After departure, the gulet sails along the Capo Milazzo coastline before crossing towards the Aeolian Islands. During the navigation it is possible to admire the first sunset over the archipelago, with views towards Filicudi and Alicudi in the distance. Arrival near Vulcano Island in the Gelso area for the first overnight anchorage beside the island’s characteristic black volcanic beach. Time for a first swim and relaxed evening on board.
Day2
Panarea and Stromboli
Morning navigation towards Panarea with a swimming stop near the Lisca Bianca rock formations, known for their underwater volcanic vents and turquoise water. After lunch onboard, the cruise continues towards Stromboli Island. Guests can explore the village independently or join the optional hike to the volcano crater with local guides. In the evening, navigation along the Sciara del Fuoco allows observation of Stromboli’s volcanic activity directly from the sea before overnight near the island.
Day3
Panarea and Cala Junco
After breakfast the gulet sails back towards the Panarea area with a stop near Basiluzzo Islet, one of the most scenic swimming locations in the Aeolian Islands. Day4
Salina and Filicudi
Morning departure towards Salina Island with a stop in Pollara Bay, famous for its dramatic cliffs and for being one of the filming locations of the Italian movie Il Postino. After lunch onboard, navigation continues west towards Filicudi, one of the wildest and least developed islands of the archipelago. Evening anchorage near Pecorini a Mare, a small fishing village with a peaceful atmosphere and ideal conditions for stargazing thanks to the limited artificial light on the island.
Day5
Filicudi and Salina Vineyards
The day begins with navigation along the western coast of Filicudi towards the Grotta del Bue Marino sea cave and La Canna sea stack. Swimming stops are planned in secluded coves before returning east towards Salina Island. Arrival in port in the late afternoon with time to explore the island’s inland villages, vineyards and local food traditions. Salina is particularly known for capers, Malvasia wine and fertile volcanic landscapes.
Day6
Lipari and Vulcano
Navigation towards the white pumice coastline of Lipari where the sea becomes exceptionally transparent due to the pale volcanic seabed. After swimming and lunch onboard, the cruise continues to Vulcano Island where guests can hike to the crater overlooking the entire Aeolian archipelago. In the evening short navigation through the channel known as Le Bocche di Vulcano before arrival in Lipari. Dinner ashore and free time to explore the historic center, harbor promenade and island atmosphere.
Day7
Lipari, Vulcano Coast and Return to Milazzo
The final sailing day begins with navigation around the Faraglioni of Lipari for a last swim stop in the archipelago. The route then follows the western coast of Vulcano Island passing the Grotta del Cavallo and the natural pools of Venus Bay. After a final swim near the Bay of Sant’Antonino, the gulet returns to Milazzo in the late afternoon. Evening free to visit the old town and the historic castle overlooking the harbor. Overnight onboard in port.Breakfast onboard and disembarkation in Milazzo within the morning.
