A one-week island hopping sailing holiday from Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan, navigating between the dramatic sea cliffs of Kornati and Dugi Otok, the historic harbor of Vis and the turquoise anchorages of the central Dalmatian islands.
The cruise departs from Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan, a well-equipped charter base near Zadar with direct access to the northern Dalmatian sailing grounds, and follows a broad arc south through the Kornati archipelago and Dugi Otok before working through the central Dalmatian islands toward Hvar, Vis and Šolta and returning to the starting point at the end of the week.
Navigation alternates between more open coastal passages and closer island hopping through the channels of the Kornati archipelago, where rocky islets and narrow sea passages create one of the most distinctive sailing landscapes on the Adriatic. Sailing distances stay comfortable throughout the week, with most daily legs leaving time for a midday swimming stop and an unhurried afternoon arrival.
The northern section of the route explores the Kornati National Park, one of the most densely clustered archipelagos in the Mediterranean, and the Telašćica Nature Park on Dugi Otok, known for its steep sea cliffs dropping directly into the Adriatic and a saltwater lake connected to the sea by an underground passage. Both parks define the wilder, more geological side of this sailing area.
Moving south, the character shifts toward the historic and the cosmopolitan. Primošten sits on a small peninsula connected to the mainland by a causeway, with stone houses, vineyards and a waterfront that has changed little over centuries. Hvar draws visitors from across Europe for its Renaissance architecture and animated harbor atmosphere, while the Pakleni Islands just offshore offer quieter anchorages within easy reach. Vis, the furthest inhabited island from the Croatian mainland, was closed to foreign visitors until 1989 and still carries an authenticity that distinguishes it from the more tourist-oriented stops further north.
Days follow a consistent rhythm of morning departures, a swimming stop around midday, early afternoon arrivals and evenings in waterfront konobas serving local wine, olive oil and fresh fish. The route alternates marina stops with natural bay anchorages, giving the week a varied texture between lively harbor evenings and quiet nights at anchor.

Day1
Boarding in Sukošan and First Anchorage on Žut Island
Boarding takes place at Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan during the afternoon, with time for provisioning, cabin allocation and a briefing covering safety, the navigation plan and onboard routines. The first sail heads southwest into the outer islands toward Žut, one of the larger uninhabited islands on the edge of the Kornati group, with sheltered bays and clear water well suited to a first evening at anchor before the main route begins the following morning.

Kornati National Park and Telašćica, Dugi Otok
Navigation continues through the Kornati archipelago, passing between uninhabited islets and narrow sea passages that define the character of this national park, before reaching Telašćica Nature Park on the southern tip of Dugi Otok. The area is known for its sea cliffs dropping steeply into the Adriatic on the open side and a natural harbor of exceptional calm on the sheltered side, alongside a saltwater lake connected to the sea underground. Time is available for swimming, walking the paths above the cliffs or simply being at anchor in one of the most distinctive natural harbors in Croatia. The night is spent near Telašćica or in the villages of Sali or Zaglav on the eastern coast of Dugi Otok.

Dugi Otok to Primošten
Departure from Dugi Otok heads south along the Dalmatian coast with a midday swimming stop near the islands of Kakan or Kaprije, smaller and quieter than the main Dalmatian destinations and well suited to an unhurried lunch at anchor. The afternoon continues toward Primošten, a historic coastal town set on a small peninsula famous for its stone houses, local vineyards producing the well-regarded Babić wine and a waterfront atmosphere that feels genuinely lived in rather than arranged for tourism. The night is spent in the port of Primošten.

Blue Lagoon and the Pakleni Islands near Hvar
The morning sail passes toward the Krknjaši lagoon near Drvenik Veli, known locally as the Blue Lagoon for the shallow turquoise water over its sandy seabed, with a stop for swimming and snorkeling before lunch. In the afternoon, the route continues toward Hvar Island and the Pakleni Islands, a low pine-covered archipelago directly in front of Hvar Town offering sheltered anchorages with a water taxi connection to the town itself. The evening can be spent in Hvar's animated harbor or at anchor among the Pakleni Islands, depending on preference.
Day5
Vis Island
Leaving the Hvar area, the route crosses toward Vis, the outermost inhabited island in the central Dalmatian group. A stop at Stiniva or Stončica along the way allows time in clear water before the afternoon arrival in Vis Town, where traditional stone architecture, local seafood restaurants and a noticeably slower island pace create a different atmosphere from the more tourist-oriented stops earlier in the week. The night is spent in the Vis marina.
Day6
Šolta Island or Rogoznica
The return north begins with a longer navigation toward Šolta Island or the sheltered bays near Rogoznica. The day combines open sea sailing with quieter anchorages ideal for swimming and a relaxed final evening. Overnight stops may include Maslinica on the western tip of Šolta, Šešula Bay, or another protected harbor along the coast depending on conditions and the preference of the group.
Day7
Return to Sukošan and Disembarkation
After breakfast, the final navigation heads north through the central Adriatic channels back toward Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan, with arrival expected in the afternoon. The final night is spent on board, and disembarkation takes place the following morning after breakfast.
