Set sail for the Aeolian Islands and experience a week of sea, wind, and authentic Sicilian charm aboard a spacious sailing yacht.
Set off on a unique adventure through the enchanting Aeolian Islands — a week of sea, wind, sunshine, and the true spirit of Sicily. Your home for the journey will be a 15-metre sailing yacht, featuring four comfortable cabins and four private bathrooms: a floating haven of freedom and discovery, suspended between sky and sea at the heart of the Mediterranean.
We meet on Saturday at 3:30 pm at the Marina of Capo d’Orlando to stock up on provisions and ease into life on board before setting sail toward the islands.
Once we leave the harbour, our route slips beyond the usual tracks and leads straight to the most authentic soul of the archipelago: crystal-clear waters, quiet bays, and charming villages that preserve the genuine Mediterranean atmosphere.
Navigation is entrusted to one our experienced skippers, a true connoisseur of the Aeolian Islands — a reliable, knowledgeable guide who ensures a serene, enjoyable experience even for those who have never sailed before.
Days drift by slowly and effortlessly: sailing between islands, swimming in sheltered coves, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing in the sun on deck.
Lunch is enjoyed on board in a friendly, informal setting, while evenings invite you ashore — to wander through village streets, dine in local trattorias, sip an aperitif by the sea, or simply soak in the magic of the Aeolian Islands.
The itinerary remains flexible, shaped by the wind and the rhythm of nature. Life on board is shared — a small world where every gesture, from cooking together to keeping the boat tidy and welcoming, becomes part of the beauty of the journey.

Itinerary
Day1
Meeting in Capo D'Orlando
Meeting time is around 3:30 pm at the Marina of Capo d’Orlando. Together with the skipper and your fellow travellers, you’ll stock up on provisions and settle everything on board — and just like that, the holiday can officially begin.
Please note: the itinerary that follows should be considered a general guide, not a rigid schedule. The order of the stops — as well as the possibility of reaching each island — may vary depending on sea and wind conditions, always prioritizing the safety and comfort of our guests. Weather-related changes are considered a natural and enriching part of the sailing experience.
Day2
Panarea, Between Chic Boutiques and Submarine Geysers
Exploring Panarea by land and sea is truly unforgettable. Although the island doesn’t have a tourist marina, it offers several scenic mooring spots and a well-organized buoy field. You can swim in the crystal-clear waters of Baia Milazzese, Cala Zimmari, Basiluzzo and Cala Junco, or snorkel among the underwater fumaroles near Lisca Nera and Lisca Bianca.
On land, the village of San Pietro is perfect for a leisurely stroll through elegant boutiques and charming corners.
At sunset, Panarea comes alive: cocktails at the Bridge or at the iconic Raya, or simply a refreshing granita overlooking the islet of Dattilo. A dinner on one of the island’s panoramic terraces — fresh fish under the stars — is an experience to remember.
Day3
Stromboli and the Sciara del Fuoco
Next, the route leads toward Stromboli — one of the world’s most active volcanoes, a place where nature reveals its raw power. By day, unwind on the black-sand beaches of Forgia Vecchia or San Lorenzo, or dive into the deep cobalt waters surrounding Strombolicchio.
At nightfall, you can witness the extraordinary show of the Sciara del Fuoco.
You may admire it on a guided hike up the volcano's slopes, or from the sea on a rib ride organized by local operators (not included), getting close enough to see the eruptions.
For safety reasons, boats overnight on mooring buoys in San Vincenzo Bay before heading ashore. Here, Bar Ingrid is a must-stop: perfect for Neapolitan-style pizza in the evening and, the next morning, one of the best granitas with brioche in the Aeolian Islands.
Day4
Salina: Charm, Good Wines Alfredo's Granita
Salina, with its pretty little port and turquoise waters, is a peaceful refuge that embodies the grace of the Aeolian Islands. Thanks to its central position in the archipelago, it’s often a mid-week or end-of-week stop — a delightful balance of adventure and relaxation.
The beautiful Pollara Bay, set inside an ancient volcanic crater, offers breathtaking vistas of towering cliffs and transparent waters. In Salina, you can dock in the marina and wander through the colourful streets of Santa Marina di Salina — painted doors, stone alleys, flowered gardens, and artisan boutiques — before heading to Lingua for a famous pane cunzato and Alfredo’s legendary granita.
Alternatively, if the sea allows, you can stay at anchor near Lingua and reach the shore by tender for an even more authentic experience from the water. Wine lovers shouldn’t miss a visit to the Hauner winery — an exceptional tasting of Aeolian wines with a view over vineyards and the sea.
Day5
Lipari – The Beating Heart of the Aeolian Islands
Lipari, the largest and liveliest of the islands, blends energy, history, and natural beauty.
Its coastline is a palette of colours: the deep blue of Canneto, the turquoise waters of Valle Muria, and the impressive Faraglioni.
Usually visited mid-week, Lipari is the ideal stop to refill water and electricity or restock with fresh fish and local specialties. A night in the marina offers convenience on board and the freedom to enjoy the evening without return-time constraints.
Once docked, the island invites exploration: the seafront promenades of Marina Corta and Marina Lunga, the historic centre, and the many artisan shops.
The evening brings countless options: a panoramic dinner in the hills overlooking Vulcano, or a more vibrant atmosphere in the bars around Marina Corta. For night owls, the famous Tourmaline club promises an unforgettable Aeolian night out.
Day6
Filicudi – Untamed Beauty and Crystal-Clear Waters
Filicudi embodies the bohemian soul of the Aeolian Islands — wild, elegant, and profoundly authentic.
Sail toward La Canna, a dramatic 70-metre basalt monolith rising from the sea like a natural sculpture — the perfect spot for a scenic swim.
The transparent seabed of Capo Graziano is a paradise for snorkelling and pure relaxation.
Anchored or on a buoy in front of Pecorini a Mare, you can head ashore to discover Filicudi’s laid-back simplicity: barefoot walks, colourful carpets laid out on the ground, and outdoor dinners in an olive grove with views of Alicudi and La Canna glowing gold at sunset. Alternatively, enjoy a fish dinner at La Sirena or, for sushi lovers, an innovative Mediterranean-meets-Far-East experience at Filicrudi.
Day7
Vulcano – Adventure and Relaxation - Saturday – Disembarkation and Farewell
Vulcano, with its dramatic cliffs and striking contrasts between land and sea, is best admired from the water. The coastline reveals spectacular sights: the white lighthouse of Gelso, the luminous waters of the Piscina di Venere, where turquoise and emerald blend into the horizon. As it’s not always possible to visit all six islands in a single week, choices vary based on weather and navigation rhythm. Vulcano is often enjoyed as a panoramic stop, offering peaceful anchorages in Baia Levante and Baia Ponente — the perfect harmony of relaxation and adventure.
Saturday – Disembarkation and Farewell
Arrival back in Capo d’Orlando is scheduled for Friday afternoon by 5:30 pm, leaving one last evening to share memories of an unforgettable journey under the stars.
Disembarkation takes place on Saturday morning by 8:30 am.

Discover the beauty of the Sicily region on a beautiful sailboat! We offer 3 double cabins each with its own head with showers for the guests plus one cabin for crew, 250 L fuel, 1000 L water, and a 100 HP Volvo engine and Solar Panels.
Our equipment includes GPS plotter, autopilot, bimini top, dinghy, electric windlass anchor, bow thruster, mainsail with lazy jack, inverter 12v-220v, and radio/CD player, USB charge in the cabins, 1 SUP and a floating pouf.
Gennaker and Fishing Gear...for a bit of extra fun!
We'll have a list of the starter provisions that has proved tried and true to which you can feel free to add special requests or note any dietary needs. The group will then go together to the nearest supermarket to do the actual shopping. Throughout the week, it will be possible to purchase fresh produce and seafood directly from the islands. The cost for the provisions bought for the week will be divided among all guests, crew excluded.
TREKKING IN STROMBOLI AND VULCANO
Experience the unique opportunity to climb two active volcanoes in the Aeolian Islands! The changing peaks, scented woods, and various formations of pumice stone and obsidian rocks create a breathtaking trekking adventure. We can book equipment and a guided tour to climb to the summit, while we mind the boat. Or if you prefer, show you the lighter paths that can also be climbed without a guide.
SCUBA DIVING
The Aeolian Islands offer a paradise for divers with over 20 different spots around the seven islands. We can help you rent equipment and go with a scuba diving instructors to discover a diversity of sea beds, vegetation, fauna, reefs, caves, craters, corals, and more.
Travel organizer tips
Do I need experience to sail with you?
Not at all! On board you have a professional captain to take care of sailing maneuvers, and with just minimal help of moorings and anchoring. We like to set sails whenever possible, so if you want to help or practice a bit, you are welcome! But sitting back and relaxing while the winds bring us to our next stop is absolutely an option.
How do I get on board from the airport?
We can help organizing taxi transfers for our guests. Depending on your arrival time and other bookings, it may be shared or private. Palermo's airport is only 30 minutes away from the harbor in the city center, where our boat docks. For travel tips, please reach out to us directly.
What do I put in my luggage?
First of all use soft canvas luggage that can be stored folded and packed light! Bring swimsuits, light clothes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, flippers, a beach towel, earbuds, and something warm, because at sea, especially at night it can get cold! Leave at home shoes with heels and any too formal wear, you shan't need them in the islands, where the atmosphere is always very relaxed.

Emiliano is a very good skipper with great knowledge of the place, Nila is an excellent hostess who is always kind and helpful and both are excellent Sicilian chefs!! Settimana indimenticabile. Le Isole Eolie offrono tanto…mare incredibile, natura inesplorata, borghi magici e tramonti unici, una vera avventura. Nila e Emiliano sono delle ottime guide che consentono di assaporare quello che c’è di autentico in queste meravigliose isole. Attraverso una profonda conoscenza dei luoghi da parte di Emiliano, vero uomo di mare, e alla grande sensibilità e conoscenza di Nila, ci hanno anche deliziato con piatti e preparazioni siciliane. Barca super confortevole e in eccellenti condizioni, è diventata casa dal primo momento. Esperienza super consigliata. Non vedo l'ora di tornare!

Bellissima settimana di relax, barca comoda e molto utile il wc privato in cabina. Emiliano è un siciliano DOC, con ottima conoscenza dei posti. A completare l'equipaggio la sua compagna Nila, gentilissima e sempre attenta agli ospiti. Siamo stati gli unici ospiti sulla barca, per questa settimana, per cui abbiamo fatto bei pranzi e cene, in ottima compagnia di Emiliano e Nila. Attenti, perchè Emiliano e Nila cucinano molto bene, e al ritorno, pesandoci, ci siamo subito messi a dieta stretta !!!!! Consigliamo questa esperienza!
