Your sailing trip
Explore hidden coves, ancient harbors and turquoise islands on a private yacht journey through the Gulf of Gökova and the Datça Peninsula.
Departing from Bodrum, this 7-day sailing itinerary reveals the magic of Turkey’s southern Aegean coast, a region shaped by wind, light and timeless seafaring traditions. The voyage follows the rhythm of the sea, moving between remote islands, lively coastal villages and anchorages surrounded by pine-scented hills.
The primary route, known as the Gulf of Gökova itinerary, unfolds eastward from Bodrum through Orak Island, Çökertme and Oren, with long, calm stretches of blue water and peaceful overnight moorings. You’ll swim in quiet bays, discover English Harbour (İngiliz Limanı) and anchor among the Seven Islands, a cluster of islets known for their crystal-clear lagoons and breathtaking sunsets. Each stop offers a chance to explore ashore, relax on deck or enjoy freshly prepared meals crafted by your onboard chef.
Alternatively, the Datça–Cnidos route extends westward, tracing the rugged coast of the Datça Peninsula. From the sheltered bays of Mercencik to the ancient ruins of Cnidos and the panoramic headlands of Mesudiye, this route highlights the wilder side of the Turkish coast. The choice between the two itineraries depends on the week’s weather and the captain’s expertise, ensuring that guests always experience the most enjoyable and safe sailing conditions.
This voyage combines elegant comfort with authentic adventure. Whether gliding past quiet coves or dining under a starry Aegean sky, each day blends natural beauty with the serenity of life at sea — an ideal journey for those seeking balance between relaxation, discovery and the art of slow travel.

Traditional Wooden Gulet – 6 Cabins / 12 Guests
This traditional wooden gulet offers an authentic sailing experience in the Turkish Aegean, blending comfort, craftsmanship and attentive onboard service. The vessel is one of two nearly identical sister ships operated by the same professional crew, featuring similar design, layout and amenities.
With a total capacity of 12 guests in 6 cabins, the gulet is ideal for small groups, couples or families seeking a relaxed atmosphere and full-board comfort. Each cabin is air-conditioned and has its own private bathroom with shower, ensuring privacy and convenience throughout the journey.
Cabin allocation is managed by the crew according to the final number of passengers and overall balance of the group, so it is not possible to select a specific cabin in advance. The double cabins are usually located toward the bow and are slightly smaller in size, while the triple cabins feature a double bed and an additional single berth. When used as doubles, the upper single bed provides extra space for luggage, making these cabins equally comfortable and spacious.
Common areas include a shaded aft deck for outdoor dining, a bright indoor saloon, and a wide foredeck with sun mattresses for relaxing under the Mediterranean sky. A professional crew takes care of sailing, service and freshly prepared meals each day, allowing guests to fully enjoy the rhythm of life at sea.
Whether sailing along quiet coves or anchoring in lively harbors, this gulet combines traditional design with modern comfort — the perfect way to experience the charm and serenity of a classic Turkish cruise.

Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light—but wisely! Need help building the perfect list?
