The cruise departs from Porto Montenegro in Tivat and moves through the Bay of Kotor before continuing along the Montenegrin Riviera to Budva, Herceg Novi and Perast, returning to Tivat at the end of the week.
The Bay of Kotor, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, forms the core of the route, its sheer mountains rising directly from the water to create one of the most distinctive coastal landscapes in the Mediterranean. Itinerary
Day1
Boarding in Tivat and Sveti Marko
Boarding takes place at Porto Montenegro in Tivat in the late afternoon, with time to settle into the cabins before a short sail into the Bay of Kotor. The night is spent at anchor near the island of Sveti Marko, surrounded by the steep mountain scenery of the bay.
Day2
Ljuta Bay and Kotor
The route continues deeper into the Bay of Kotor, with a swim stop in the clear water of Ljuta Bay. In the afternoon the boat reaches Kotor, where the old town's Venetian walls, churches and narrow stone streets are open to explore. The night is spent in the harbor.
Day3
Dobra Luka Bay and Bigova
The morning allows further time around Kotor before sailing south, with a stop at Dobra Luka Bay for swimming. The afternoon continues to Bigova, a small fishing village with a quiet, traditional atmosphere, where the night is spent at anchor.
Day4
Trsteno Bay, Sveti Stefan and Budva
Sailing continues along the coast with a swim stop in Trsteno Bay, known for its turquoise water and sandy seabed. In the afternoon the boat passes the island of Sveti Stefan before reaching Budva, where the walled old town and waterfront promenade are within easy reach. The night is spent in Budva.
Day5
Jaz Beach and Lustica Bay
The route passes Jaz Beach, one of the longest stretches of sand on this coast, with a further swim stop along the way. The afternoon continues toward the Lustica Bay area, where the night is spent at anchor in a sheltered setting.
Day6
Tjesna Luka, Mirista Bay and Herceg Novi
The boat sails back toward the northern part of the Bay of Kotor, stopping in the quiet cove of Tjesna Luka and for a swim at Mirista Bay. In the afternoon the route reaches Herceg Novi, set at the foot of Mount Orjen, with its stone stairways, historic squares and botanical gardens open to explore. The night is spent in the harbor.
Day7
Perast and Return to Tivat
The final day passes back through the Bay of Kotor, with a stop at Perast to see its baroque waterfront and the islets of Our Lady of the Rocks and Saint George just offshore. The boat returns to Porto Montenegro in Tivat by early evening, and the last night is spent on board in the marina. Disembarkation takes place the following morning after breakfast.
