THE AEOLIAN ISLANDS
Spectacular landscapes, sands, colours, intoxicating flavors and smells have always made the Aeolian Islands a popular destination for the gods. The islands offer the ideal stay both for those who love a festive atmosphere of worldliness, nightlife in trendy clubs, events and sports, and for those who love nature and relaxation and prefer to listen and be lulled by the sound of the sea alone. from the rustling of the breeze in the sails or in the trees, in full respect of the nature and the past of these places. The islands that form the archipelago are seven: Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi, Alicudi. They extend over an area of about 45 miles from east to west and 30 from north to south; they are all of volcanic origin, some with craters still active.
LIPARI
The main island, certainly the richest in history, has been inhabited since the Paleolithic. The most visible symbol of the ancient vestiges is certainly the Castle, located on the ancient acropolis and dating back to the 6th century. The castle is now home to the "Aeolian Archaeological Museum" which, with its collections, traces the history of the islands from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Characteristics of the island are: the pumice quarries of Porticello, which have given a particular white color to the beach and the waters in front of it; the Faraglioni, to the south, facing Vulcano; Marina Corta, the lively square; Sottomonastero, or Marina Lunga, a landing place equipped with a quay reserved for boats in transit. The tourist port of Pignataro is located at the north end of the inlet. It is protected by a breakwater, a quay for free mooring and a floating dock for paid mooring with assistance, electricity and water services.
VULCANO
The island of thermal springs and curative mud, a destination for sportsmen who combine the beauty of its waters with that of the volcano, whose ascent offers perhaps an unparalleled spectacle, such as the view from above of the surrounding islands and the isthmus that connects Volcano at Vulcanello. There are many attractions, the different landscapes that the island offers, according to the side chosen, but it is navigation that allows access to the most beautiful places: the Grotta del Cavallo, the Piscina di Venere, the beaches to the south and the numerous coves to the west.
SALINA
The island, with high and steep coasts, is the greenest of the archipelago. It is formed by two peaks of volcanic origin: Monte Fossa delle Felci and Monte dei Porri which give it an aspect from which the ancient name of the island was derived: "Dydime" or "Twin". The current name derives from the salt pans to the southeast, behind Punta Lingua. The island is full of natural inlets, including Pollara, with its beach and abandoned fishermen's houses, very suggestive and not only at sunset; Rinella, with its suggestive and not only at sunset; Rinella, with its black caves, transformed into a small port. The first true tourist port of the Aeolian Islands was built in Santa Marina Salina. Modern and functional with paid mooring, assistance and services for water, electricity and toilets.
PANAREA
Clear waters, cliffs and enchanting seabeds make Panarea a popular destination for divers which is accompanied by a young and lively tourism, due not only to the beauty of the place, but also to the presence of well-known night clubs. By day, disembarking with the tender, you can visit the Bronze Age village on the promontory of Punta Milazzese, whose cliffs form a beautiful gully: Cala Junco, one of the most beautiful places of all the Aeolian Islands.
STROMBOLI
Stromboli is one of two active volcanoes in Italy and one of six volcanoes in the world "constantly" erupting. The marine landscape of the island is full of caves, including the Eolo cave. Also characteristic are the Strombolicchio, a rock to the north that rises steeply for 56 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea, and the Sciara del Fuoco, a steep wall along which the incandescent material slides ending up in the sea. The latter, to be seen at night, can only be reached by sea. The small center is worth a visit, located around the sandy Punta Lena where you can arrive by disembarking at Ficogrande or San Vincenzo, which form a single inhabited area. On the opposite side of the island: Ginostra, recently equipped with electricity but still full of charm and starry nights!
ALICUDI AND FILICUDI
Suitable places for those seeking pure nature and silence. Formerly called Phoenicusa, because it is covered with ferns, Filicudi is accessible from the port, to the east, or from the village of Pecorini, on the southern side where there is a pier. The most beautiful areas can only be discovered by navigation: the stack "la Canna", the islets of Montenassari and Giafante, the rock of fortune and the suggestive large cave of Bue Marino. Even quieter and less accessible, and therefore generally excluded from itineraries, is Alicudi, where docking has recently been facilitated by the Palomba dock. The contrast between the mainland and the blue sea that surrounds it is enchanting.

Yacht - Oceanis 48
The Oceanis 48 has a mainsail arch and centred mast making her well-balanced and her hull offers great stability and comfort at all speeds. This is an important step in the combination of speed, safety and flow when living on board.
With the scope for a layout of up to five cabins, or three cabins with a spacious forward owner suite, the Oceanis 48 also cleverly places the accent on shared living spaces. The interior is bathed in a wonderful amount of light from the large hull portholes and the ambiance can be either contemporary light oak or a more traditional mahogany.
