From the Costa Smeralda to the enchanting bays of Cala Gonone and the marine protected area of Tavolara
By departing from Cannigione you navigate to the beaches of the Costa Smeralda and the islands Mortorio, Tavolara and Molara until you reach the beautiful bay of Cala Gonone .
The Costa Smeralda is a popular destination in the world for nightlife and for the white beaches that blend with the sea in a crystalline backdrop. Located in the north-east of Sardinia, this part of the coast is full of bays and inlets where nature remains intact. Ideal places to stop for an aperitif at sunset!
Moving south of Olbia, the itinerary includes the islands of Mortorio, Tavolara and Molara within the protected area of Tavolara - Punta di Cavallo, a reserve since 1997. A real jewel in the open air between the sea and the coast.
The navigation continues, if the weather conditions allow it, towards the south to the bays of Cala Gonone, a place renowned for the numerous itineraries between culture and nature and for the caves, hidden treasures enclosed between sea and mountains.
Here we will stop for a couple of days and then leave for Cannigione.
