Sailing Cruise From Paros to Paros via Folegandros and Milos
A sailing charter to some of the best Cyclades Islands. We will visit Folegandros, Milos, Polyaigos, Sifnos, Antiparos and Paros.
Itinerary
Day1
Folegandros
Coming out of the Gulf of Paroikia we will pass the narrow (and very shallow water) between Paros and Anti Paros then an exciting and fast navigation downwind to reach Folegandros. Normally we will drop anchor in the beautiful bay of Vathi, where we will spend an afternoon relaxing. In the late afternoon we take the bus and go to visit the Chora, but before a nice walk up to the monastery where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset. Dinner in a tavern.
Day2
Milos South coast
A long sailing with the wind on the beam, in a very windy stretch of sea, towards the South coast of Milos.
We usually drop anchor in a bay of white sand with crystal clear water in front of a white cliff with many veins of color, from red to green to yellow, it is one of the most spectacular scenery in the Cyclades. The afternoon passes between bath, walks on the long white beach and relax on the boat. Dinner on board.
Day3
Milos
A short navigation to reach the western end of Milos where we find Kleftico.
Kleftiko is an impressive spot of rock formations, where high cliffs emerge from the sea and the coast is full of caves that we will explore by the dingy. The legends says it was a hideout for pirates. Lunch and swim and in the afternoon brief but intense sailing against the wind to reach Adamas, which is the main harbour of Milos.
In Adamas you should not miss the sunset from the monastery on top of the mountain and a dinner in Plaka, the old Chora.
Day4
Polyaigos
We leave the great bay of Milos, circumnavigate the northern part of the island and sail the ten miles with wind on the beam to reach Polyaigos, where we will anchor in one of the most beautiful bays of the Cyclades.
A natural swimming pool with crystal clear water and white sand, where we can anchor sheltered from Meltemi. Afternoon of relax and swim and in the late afternoon, walk on the mountain to see the unforgettable sunset.
Day5
Sifnos
Short but intense sailing upwind to reach a deserted bay in the south of Sifnos. A narrow bay reachable only by boat with one white house with a small church.
Relaxing afternoon and night in the bay.
Day6
Antiparos
Sailing with the wind on the beam to reach the channel between Paros and Antiparos, stop for lunch in an anchorage between 3 small island and in the afternoon a short sailing to reach Paroikia

Paros
Breakfast and disembarkation.

A different sailboat
The boat was designed and buit for fast offshore sailing. She is wider that a standard sailbot of the same size and much more faster.
It is also a very fast boat and is able to glide on the waves. Transfers will thus be faster, but above all more fun. The hull, inspired by modern open ocean boats, has two rudders and is planing; in the right conditions, even 15 knots can be reached safely. The very wide hull guarantees stability and offers great habitability both inside and in the cockpit.
The very wide maximum beam which then narrows a little towards the stern allows for large spaces in the cockpit. Ample space for both those who maneuver and those who relax in the shade, sheltered by the canopy and bimini.
The interiors are made up of 3 double cabins with two bathrooms, a very large and habitable dinette, with a kitchen the size of those "at home".
The saloon has two sofas, which can be transformed into two double berths and a central table.
