A spectacular cruise in the heart of the Mediterranean to be enchanted by the pearls of Sicily.
For a boating holiday on Sicily you can start from Marina of Marsala, facing the Aegadian islands and during the cruise, you can fully enjoy the natural beauty of these wonderful volcanic islands, which despite being all nearby 'to each other, retain a different appearance and character.
The sea is cobalt blue so deep that it inevitably evokes a primordial landscape, shaped by lava. It is also beautiful to walk in the alleys at sunset, characterized by craft shops, restaurants and refined boutiques.
The itinerary shown is subject to variations based on marine weather conditions. For safety reasons, the skipper's judgment regarding navigation and any changes to the program is unquestionable.
Itinerary
Day1
Capo D'Orlando > Vulcano
Check in at 17:30 in Capo d'orlando.
Briefing with crew, onboard accomodation and galley arrangement and weather permitting if we are all in time we set sails at sunset towards the first of the islands; Vulcano.
A bay that seems out of time, black beach and crystal clear purple water, a wild nature made of prickly pears, capers and wild goats that love to go down to the water.
The island is formed by four volcanoes, of which only one in activity, the last eruption was in 1888, it lasted four years, volcanic manifestations are still present.
Day2
Vulcano > Salina
Awakening and breakfast on Vulcano and morning dedicated to the discovery of Vulcano, bath in the sulphurous springs or walk to Vulcanello. After lunch we set sail for the Faraglioni of Lipari and after a swim and a relaxing break, here we are
navigation towards the Verdiante Salina.
We arrive for aperitif time in Santa Maria di Salina, where we can choose to enter the port, "the Aeolian Islands Porto", or stay in the harbor at its entrance and get off with the tender for a walk through its characteristic center and why not even for a dinner.
Salina as well as for its wines and its Malvasia is also famous for having one of the best restaurants in Aeolian.
Day3
Salina > Filicudi
We set sail to have breakfast in Lingua for the famous Granita da Alfredo and then dubbed the head we head for Filicudi, the wildest of the Aeolian islands.
At Capo Graziano we will choose a bay for lunch (Grotta del bue Marino and the Canna) and relax and snorkel before moving to Porto Pecorini to do aperitif on the ground and spend the night under a mantle of stars in the harbor.
Day4
Filicudi > Stromboli
Breakfast and sailing towards the famous bay of Pollara in Salina, a small hamlet where
was shot "Il postino" by Massimo Troisi, from here after lunch we will turn to Stromboli.
I arrive in the late afternoon and can organize an excursion to the volcano or admire the eruptions from the sea. After a good dinner in a local tavern, we will spend the night on the island of geckos at anchor. One of the most fascinating events on the island is certainly the Sciara del Fuoco, the lava flow that descends to the sea. The volcanic explosions with a jet of lapillus incandescent to great heights and which illuminate the sky in red, occur all year round and never disappoint anyone.
Day5
Stromboli > Panarea
In the morning have a walk immersed in an absolutely suggestive atmosphere of Stromboli village .. very characteristic. Set sails to Strombolicchio and then sail to Panarea island
where we will visit the satellite island of Basiluzzo with its vegetation rich in dwarf palms, Calajunco bay in Panarea with a beautiful natural swimming pool turquoise green, the Lisca Bianca islet with the famous Lovers' cave and Lisca Nera. Stop in the spectacular
Milazzese bay and then all ashore to explore the island with its nightlife.
Day6
Panarea > Lipari
Route to Lipari for a relaxing stop in the magnificent White Beach, that is the pumice quarries.Lunch in the bay and in the late afternoon free land to visit the town of Lipari and for who wants the archaeological and volcanological museum.
Day7
Lipari > Capo D'Orlando
We will leave early heading south, towards Vulcano, to stop after Punta Gelso and enjoy a relaxing bath and where we will admire a very varied coast rich in reddish colors typical of the island and visit the Grotta del Horse. Before returning to Capo D'Orlando, where we will spend the last evening celebrating together, we will have the time to take a bath at the beach of Vinci with its fumaroles.
