Weekend Itinerary on Elba Island
Located at the southern end of the Gulf of Follonica, Punta Ala is an elegant seaside resort in the province
of Grosseto, in the municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia.
The tourist port of Punta Ala is one of the most beautiful of the Tuscan coast, its position is strategic and
allows you to go both north (Elba, Capraia) and south (Giglio, Argentario).
After having done the galley and refueling, in the evening we will reach the calm waters of Cala Violina, in
the Gulf of Follonica.
Sailing towards the east coast of Elba, you reach Rio Marina, then en route to Portoferraio, the main port of
the island with a "natural" character, with the possibility of mooring in the port or at anchor in the deep
and sheltered gulf.
We set sail again to the west, towards Punta Fetovaia, a wild promontory covered by Mediterranean scrub,
to reach the large and comfortable bay of Marina di Campo, to discover its picturesque old town with its
characteristic harbor.
Finally we double Punta dei Ripalti and with a quiet sail we return to Punta Ala, arriving in the Marina.

She consists of 3 cabins, 2 bathrooms - Dinette with 2 sofas - Length 17.3 meters. - Year 1998 (refit 2018-2019)
Splendid 17.4-meter sailing yacht, One Off project from the pen of the architect. German Frers, with timeless lines. Kevlar / carbon hull, carbon mast and boom.
The boat underwent a complete makeover in 2019.
A slight breeze is enough to be able to savor the racing skills of the sailboat, which she does not disdain demanding conditions for the sheer pleasure of riding the waves at speed and in complete safety.
