Experience a weekend sailing trip in the Egadi Islands, Sicily, one of the most unspoiled and scenic sailing destinations in the Mediterranean. Located off the coast of Trapani and Marsala, the Egadi Archipelago includes the islands of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, along with smaller islets surrounded by clear turquoise waters and dramatic coastlines.
This short sailing itinerary is ideal for spring and early summer, offering mild weather, calm seas and fewer crowds. The islands are known for their natural beauty, with rocky cliffs, hidden coves, sea caves and traditional fishing heritage, including one of the last remaining tuna fisheries in Sicily.
Favignana, the largest island, offers a mix of beaches, bays and small coastal villages. Levanzo, the smallest and most authentic, provides a quieter atmosphere with limited roads, white houses and access to the famous Grotta del Genovese, home to prehistoric engravings of significant archaeological value. Its rugged coastline and untouched landscapes make it one of the most unique stops of the itinerary.

Day1
Marsala Check-in and Onboard Introduction
Your Aegadian Islands sailing holiday from Marsala begins with boarding after 17:00. After settling into your double cabin, you will meet the crew and receive a briefing on safety, onboard systems and life during the cruise.
The evening is dedicated to preparation and relaxation, including provisioning and time to get familiar with the yacht and fellow guests.
Day2
Marsala to Levanzo Island
After breakfast, the cruise begins with a sail toward Levanzo Island, the smallest and most authentic of the Aegadian Islands.
Known for its rocky coastline and quiet coves, Levanzo offers excellent conditions for swimming in clear waters. The evening can be spent relaxing on board or going ashore by tender to explore the small village and its peaceful atmosphere.
Day3
Levanzo to Marettimo Island
In the morning, guests can optionally visit the famous Grotta del Genovese, known for its prehistoric cave paintings and archaeological significance.
The route then continues toward Marettimo, often described as the wildest and most untouched island in the archipelago. Sailing along its dramatic coastline, enjoy lunch on board before arriving. Marettimo is part of the Aegadian Islands Marine Reserve, the largest protected marine area in Europe, known for its clear blue waters and unspoiled nature.
Day4
Marettimo Exploration and Sea Caves
Spend the day exploring Marettimo Island, one of the highlights of sailing in Sicily. Guests can join a local boat excursion to discover the island’s famous sea caves, including Grotta del Cammello and Grotta del Presepe, known for their crystal clear waters.
For those who prefer land activities, trekking paths lead through Mediterranean vegetation to viewpoints such as Punta Troia. The day ends with swimming, relaxation and an aperitif at sunset, followed by an evening ashore in the village.

Marettimo to Favignana Island
Sail toward Favignana, the largest island of the Aegadian Archipelago and a key destination for sailing in Sicily.
Known for its turquoise waters, limestone quarries and natural caves, Favignana offers a mix of landscapes and vibrant island life. The day includes sailing, swimming and time to explore the island.
Day6
Favignana Swim Stops and Coastal Sailing
Depending on wind conditions, sail to different sides of the island to discover its most famous bays.
Possible stops include Cala Rossa, known for its intense turquoise color, or quieter coves on the southern coast. The day is dedicated to swimming, snorkeling and relaxing in one of the most scenic areas of the Aegadian Islands.
Day7
Favignana Exploration and Return to Marsala
The final day offers time to explore Favignana inland, with options including visiting the historic Florio tuna factory, cycling around the island or walking to panoramic viewpoints.
In the afternoon, sail back to Marsala, where the cruise concludes. Disembarkation is possible in the evening or the following morning by 10:00.

It is difficult to estimate the exact amount for expenses to be managed through the shared cash fund, as port fees vary depending on the season, and fuel consumption depends on wind conditions and engine hours (approximately 7 liters per hour). If you wish to have wine, water, beer, champagne or other alcoholic beverages, the selection will be entirely up to you. Typically, with 8 guests on board, these costs range between €80 and €100 per person. Beverages are purchased by guests upon arrival on board. Guests who do not consume alcohol will not be charged for it. The crew is exempt from these shared expenses.
