Your sailing trip
A ten-night sailing itinerary from Le Marin south through Saint Lucia and the Grenadines to Mayreau, the Tobago Cays and Mustique, and back to Martinique.
The cruise starts and ends at the marina of Le Marin, on the southern coast of Martinique, and follows a long circular route through the Windward Islands. From the French Caribbean it crosses to Saint Lucia, continues along the coast of Saint Vincent and enters the Grenadines, the chain of small islands and reefs that many sailors consider the finest cruising ground in the Caribbean.
Ten nights give the route a natural rhythm. Two days of sailing lead south, with the longest passages in the open channels between the islands, and five days are spent among the Grenadines, where the sails are short and easy and the anchors go down in turquoise water. Two days of sailing bring the boat back north. The passages are planned in daylight, with most nights at anchor in sheltered bays.
The landscape changes at every stop. Saint Lucia rises steeply from the sea, crowned by the twin volcanic peaks of the Pitons. Bequia opens onto the broad, protected Admiralty Bay, Mayreau offers the white crescent of Saltwhistle Bay, and the Tobago Cays Marine Park gathers five uninhabited islets inside a horseshoe reef, with shallow water and green turtles grazing on the seagrass. Mustique closes the southern part of the route with its relaxed bay and beach bars.
Ashore, the cruise offers a taste of the Eastern Caribbean: the waterfront of Port Elizabeth with its boat builders and market stalls, small beach bars, local restaurants and the marina village of Le Marin at the start and the end of the trip. Snorkeling is part of almost every day, and one or two dives with a local centre can be organised on request.
On board the pace is easy and sociable. Days alternate between sailing, swimming, snorkeling and time ashore, and evenings are spent at anchor under a sky full of stars.

Wide open and easy to live on, this modern cruiser pairs a generous cockpit with a bright saloon and four proper cabins, so a group of friends or two small families can enjoy real sailing without giving up comfort.
The cockpit is the heart of the boat: wide, uncluttered and fitted with twin helms, with the sail controls led back to the helm so a small crew can handle it. A large bathing platform at the stern makes swimming stops easy, and the coachroof offers plenty of room to stretch out in the sun.
Below deck, large hull windows flood the saloon with natural light. A U-shaped seating area and a generous table sit opposite an L-shaped galley with stove, oven and refrigerator, practical for cooking real meals. Four cabins, three with double berths and one with bunks, are ventilated and well supplied with storage. The yacht is listed with up to eight berths in the four cabins, and ten by converting the saloon table.

Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience? Weather and sea state can change the plan on any sailing holiday. The route, anchorages and overnight stops may be adjusted to keep the boat safe, with sheltered bays and marina stops as alternatives, and the final decisions always put the safety and comfort of the crew first.
