A slow sailing route across the quiet islands of northern Palawan, from the limestone bays of El Nido through Linapacan and Culion to the reefs around Coron, with swim and snorkeling stops along the way.
This route links El Nido and Coron through a chain of limestone islands, white sand beaches and clear lagoons, and it can be sailed in either direction, from El Nido to Coron or from Coron to El Nido.
The journey covers roughly 175 km over several days, with, weather and sea permitting, around two to four stops each day for swimming and snorkeling. The pace follows the wind and the sea rather than a timetable, so the order of the stops can change from one day to the next.
Leaving Bacuit Bay behind, the route heads towards the Sibaltan area, then reaches the Linapacan group, known for very clear water, coral reefs and quiet beaches. Beyond them, the islands around Culion offer sandbars, cliff jumping spots and sheltered anchorages before the final stretch towards the Coron reefs.
Away from the main tourist hubs, the islands are home to small fishing communities and simple island camps where daily life still follows the tides. The route starts in El Nido and ends at the port of Coron, or the other way round.
Days are spent mostly on the water, with time to swim, snorkel and watch the islands pass from the deck. Evenings are quiet, ashore on the islands, under a sky with very little light pollution.
Itinerary
Day1
El Nido to the Sibaltan Area
The journey begins with boarding in El Nido, then heads towards the Sibaltan area. Possible stops on the way include Darocotan Island, Calibangbangan Island, Takling Island and Cobra Island, with time to swim and snorkel before the first night.
Day2
Linapacan Islands
The second day is spent among the Linapacan islands, a quiet area of reefs and pale sand beaches. Possible stops include Bulawid Island, where turtles are sometimes seen, Cala-Cala Island, Cagdanao Island and Asis Beach.
Day3
Linapacan to Culion
The route continues towards Culion, with a possible cliff jumping spot, Inapupuan Island, Dimancal Island and Manligad Island along the way.
Day4
Culion Area and Arrival in Coron
The last full day is spent around Culion, with possible stops at Araw Beach, Dipalian Island and the sandbar at Ditaytayan Island. After the final night the route continues towards Coron, passing Bulog Dos Island, Waling-Waling Island, the Malajon and Malnavay coral reefs and the shipwreck area, before arriving at the port of Coron, where the expedition ends with disembarkation.

Life on deck centres on the shaded outdoor area, where guests can read, rest or simply watch the horizon.
On board there is a galley where the onboard chef prepares the meals. Fresh water is on board and snorkeling equipment is ready for the first swim of the day.
