The cruise departs from Mahé and moves through the inner islands of the Seychelles, a group known for short passages between anchorages, warm clear water and a landscape shaped by granite boulders and dense tropical vegetation, before returning to Mahé at the end of the week.
Curieuse stands out for its population of giant tortoises and a protected bay used as a breeding site for sea turtles, while La Digue is known for its beaches framed by smooth granite rocks, among the most recognizable coastal landscapes in the Indian Ocean. Praslin adds a quieter, more forested character, and Silhouette, one of the more remote islands on the route, is covered largely in dense jungle with coral reefs close to shore.
Days generally combine a morning sail with a stop for swimming or snorkeling, time ashore to explore a beach or walking trail, and a slower pace in the afternoon, with evenings spent at anchor in a sheltered bay. The route may shift slightly from one week to the next depending on conditions at sea.
Itinerary
Day1
Boarding in Mahé
Boarding takes place at Eden Island Marina in Mahé in the early afternoon, with time to settle into the cabins before the first short sail. The evening is spent at anchor near Mahé or in a nearby bay.
Day2
Mahé to Curieuse
The route continues to Curieuse, where a shallow bay and mangrove covered shoreline are home to a population of giant tortoises. Time ashore allows for a walk among the tortoises and a stop for swimming and snorkeling in the surrounding water, with the night spent at anchor off the island.
Day3
Curieuse to La Digue
Sailing continues to La Digue, known for its beaches framed by large granite boulders. The day includes time ashore to explore the coastline on foot or by bike, with a swim stop along the way and the night spent at anchor near the island.
Day4
La Digue to Grande Soeur
A short sail leads to Grande Soeur, a small, quiet island with clear water well suited to swimming and snorkeling. The pace here is slower, with most of the day left free to enjoy the beach and the surrounding reef before the night at anchor.
Day5
Grande Soeur to Praslin
The route continues to Praslin, the second largest island in the group, with a more forested landscape and quieter beaches than the earlier stops. Time ashore allows for a walk through one of the island's coastal paths, with the evening spent at anchor nearby.
Day6
Praslin to Silhouette
Sailing continues to Silhouette, one of the more remote islands on the route, largely covered in dense jungle with coral reefs close to the shoreline. The day is spent swimming and snorkeling along the reef, with the last night before the return spent at anchor off the island.
Day7
Return to Mahé and Disembarkation
The final day is spent sailing back toward Mahé, arriving in the morning. Disembarkation takes place at Eden Island Marina after arrival.
