Come aboard our Bali 4.3 and explore enchanting caves, long beaches and the clear water of the Gulf of Naples. Your unique yacht trip on a catamaran to be remembered!
Stretching along the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula the Amalfi coast is one of the Mediterranean most breathtaking coastline and the undisputed beauty and the uniqueness of its natural landscape make it the perfect location for a special yacht trip.
The mountain plunges steeply into the sea, creating charming coves, deep fjords, cliffs, caverns, bays, natural arches and small pebble beaches; natural elements that have created, an enchanting landscape. The roads hug the tight curves of the cliffy coast overlooking blue water that merges with the sky in one vast blue horizon; Typical houses, painted in warm pastel colors, follow the natural slope of the foothills, creating very picturesque “postcard“ villages. This breathtaking landscape combined with the intense scents of the lemon groves, the vineyards, the bright colors of bougainvillea and the smell of the salt air, creates a unique sensory experience which give the tourists, pleasant memories and a strong desire to return to this little piece of heaven on earth.
A highlight of this Amalfi coast yacht trip will be a visit to Capri. The glamorous seaside getaway is an enchanting and picturesque island made of limestone rock; the town is a Moorish opera set of shiny white houses, tiny squares, and narrow medieval alleyways hung with flowers. It rests on top of rugged limestone cliffs hundreds of feet above the sea, and on which herds of capre (goats) once used to roam (giving the name to the island). Once, a pleasure dome to Roman emperors and now Italy most glamorous seaside getaway, it is still one of the Mediterranean must-see places.
Itinerary
Day1
Castellammare di Stabia ( Napoli)
Boarding from 5.30 pm in Castellammare del Golfo (Naples). Set in the Gulf of Naples, the city of Castellammare di Stabia is one of the most characteristic tourist destinations. The afternoon will be dedicated to distribuite accommodation on board and for the preparation of provisions. After the briefing, depending on the weather, we will decide whether to set sail towards Posillipo harbor, from which we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the gulf.
Day2
ISCHIA
After a relaxing breakfast onboard, we will sail to Ischia. The Sant’Angelo area offers delightful views and the possibility of a stop at anchor at the Maronti beach, famous for its beneficial fumaroles. After a nice swim and a lunch in the harbor, we will sail towards the Aragonese Castle, where it is possible to spend the night in a unique atmosphere. On land, for those who wish and according to the opening hours to the public, it is possible to visit the imposing castle and museum (entrance fee € 10 per person) or a nice walk in the area called Ischia Ponte.
Day3
Procida
The day is dedicated to the circumnavigation of Procida and its most beautiful bays. In particular, the glimpse of Corricella is breathtaking: a large cove, enclosed to the north-east by quaint, colorful houses, also famous for being the setting for the film "Il postino", with Massimo Troisi. At night we will instead moor at the Chiaiolella marina, a large and lively place, where a delicious dinner at the restaurant “Da Maria” alla Corricella is recommended..
Day4
Island of Capri
n the morning, after breakfast at the harbour , a splendid sailing trip awaits us to cross the entire Gulf of Naples towards the splendid island of Capri, which we approach from the east side. Here is a first stop for a swim at the White Grotto, so called for its characteristic white stalactites, and in the afternoon we will continue for one of the most scenic navigations passing by the famous stacks and anchoring in Marina Piccola. The beautiful bay will offer us a unique night spectacle under a myriad of stars.
Day5
AMALFI
With the Faraglioni behind us, full sail towards the Amalfi Coast where high mountains, with exciting colors and views, overlook the bays of Nerano, Positano and Amalfi. The first stop for a swim will be in the crystal clear waters of Li Galli. The Li Galli Islands are three remote and rocky islands (Gallo Lungo, Castelluccio and Rotonda) located a few miles from the beach of Positano and mirrored in the clear sea in front of the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. According to legend, the islands were inhabited by sirens who seduced sailors with their melodious voices, causing them to lose control of their ships. We will then continue to the Amalfi marina, where, in addition to enjoying one of the most famous stops, we will also be able to stock up our galley. Amalfi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the four Italian republics. It is full of history, packed with amazing and ancient buildings and museums. The Cathedral of Sant'Andrea in Piazza Duomo, the Basilica of the Crucifix, the ancient arsenal of the Maritime Republic and the Cardboard Museum are just some of the wonders of Amalfi.
Day6
POSITANO
We wake up with calm and relaxation, to enjoy a breakfast on the ground and a nice walk. After breakfast we will set sail to go up the coast, passing near Praiano and Conca dei Marini. We will make a short stop visiting the incredible Fiordo di Furore, a deep crack in the rock at the mouth of a steep valley that falls into the sea, which retains a small beach with a small and picturesque fishing village. Here began the stormy relationship between Roberto Rossellini and actress Anna Magnani, also known as "Nannarella" during the filming of "L'Amore". The houses are uninhabited and have been transformed into an interesting ecomuseum.
We will then reach Positano, an authentic pearl of the Amalfi Coast. The characteristic whitewashed houses that climb steep slopes are visible from the pebble beach. The steep colored and narrow streets full of shops and cafes recall the colors and suggestions of the traditional Neapolitan "Nativity scene". In Positano don't forget to buy fresh linen clothes, leather sandals, colored ceramics and limoncello!
Day7
NERANO AND THE SORRENTO COAST
After breakfast we will sail towards Capo Conca, the suggestive bay of Nerano, on the Sorrento coast, just before Punta Campanella. Return to the marina of Castellammare for a last, wonderful evening all together.
