Your sailing trip
A one way sailing journey from Antigua to Dominica through Guadeloupe, Les Saintes and Marie-Galante, with active sailing and relaxed island stops.
This one way sailing cruise links Antigua to Dominica through the French Caribbean in ten nights, crossing Guadeloupe, the Iles des Saintes and Marie-Galante before ending in Dominica. It is a true island hopping route, and it can also be sailed in the opposite direction, from Dominica to Antigua.
Most days combine a comfortable sail with time at anchor, so there is room to swim, snorkel and explore ashore without rushing. The skipper adapts passages and timing to weather, sea state and the clearance formalities between the islands.
Expect the green mountains and sheltered bays of Guadeloupe's west coast, the beaches and clear water of Les Saintes, the long sandy shores of Marie-Galante and the wild volcanic coast of Dominica.
Ashore there are fishing villages, creole kitchens, sugar cane fields and rum on Marie-Galante and the French island atmosphere of Les Saintes, before the last stretch brings you to Dominica, the Nature Island, to discover its inland wonders.
Life on board is active and relaxed. Guests are welcome to take part in the sailing and learn along the way, while skipper and crew look after the boat and the meals, with water, soft drinks and a set quantity of wine and beer included.
How it works. This is a flexible product with no fixed departure dates. Travel organizer tips
Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? Read our full guide: What to pack in a suitcase for a yacht charter
Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience?
