The Aegadian Islands and the Zingaro Natural park are the stunning backdrop that combine a pleasant sailing vacation
The Egadi Islands are located just in front of the most western point of Sicily just a few kilometers from Trapani.
The Egadi archipelago includes three main islands, Favignana (la major), Levanzo (la minor) and Marettimo, and two great rocks, Maraone and Formica, that emerge from the blue waters of the Tyrrhenian, a few miles from Trapani.
The limpid waters and the fascinating coasts, the small reliefs, the bays, the caves, and then the particular call of the tonnara (one of the few survivors in the world), make the Egadi a popular tourist destination and seaside. to the Egadi Islands to discover the beautiful Sicilian islands from the sea. Islands of volcanic origin, one different from the other in the landscapes and in the character, the ideal environment to spend a week on a sailing boat full of relaxation and carefree. Individual boarding with base in Palermo.
A cruise aboard a comfortable catamaran between the Egadi Islands and the coast of Sicily. An experience for those who love the sea and unspoiled nature. A cruise of immense beauty among breathtaking views and jewels of the Sicilian cultural scene such as the former Florio factory, the largest sea museum in Europe, and the town of San Vito Lo Capo with its culinary tradition.
Itinerary
Day1
Palermo
Meeting point from 3.30 pm in Palermo. Accommodation in the cabins, briefing on the week's program and on the on-board equipment, then everyone to the galley with the help of our crew. If you are ready by 18:30 and the weather conditions permit, you set sail (about 1/2h of navigation) towards Mondello or Terrasini to spend dinner and the night at anchor under the stars.
Day2
San Vito Lo Capo
Breakfast on board and sailing towards San Vito Lo Capo, sailing along the coast to the Zingaro Reserve up to San Vito Lo Capo, a fishing port that has become a pleasant tourist resort with its characteristic long sandy beach. You will go ashore with the tender for an aperitif, dinner or even just a walk in the village. Overnight at anchor in the bay of San Vito Lo Capo.
Day3
Favignana
Sailing towards Favignana, the largest of the islands, with its characteristic butterfly shape. The name derives from the building stone, called Favignana, which is extracted from the tuff quarries. Once you arrive, you will stop for a dip and relax in Cala Rossa, the symbolic inlet of the island, which offers both rocks and sand set in a sea that embraces shades ranging from blue to light blue. For the evening we will enter the port where, moored, you can comfortably go down to the main village of the island.
Day4
Marettimo
Breakfast and for those who want to visit the Tonnara Florio, the former Florio factory of the Tonnare di Favignana and Formica is an ancient tuna fishery, among the largest in the Mediterranean. It is here that Ignazio Florio, at the end of the 19th century, invented the revolutionary method of preserving tuna, having the adjoining factory built. We circumnavigate Favignana with a stop at Cala Pozzo or Cala Rotonda. Navigation towards Marettimo (about 3 hours) and arrival in the late afternoon at the farthest of the Egadi Islands, Marettimo. Thanks to its remoteness, the impervious nature of the mountain and the low impact of man on the environment, it preserves a very precious vegetative and faunal heritage, where unique species of the Mediterranean have managed to live. We will go down with the tender to visit the village and if you want to dine in its renowned restaurants and taste the Egadi lobster soup. Overnight stay at anchor in the Bay of Porticciolo di Marettimo.
Day5
Levanzo
Marettimo, walk on land in the wild island dominated by Monte Falcone is full of beautiful natural caves, famous for excursions along the paths that lead to the ruins of Roman houses and marine reserve. We set sail for Punta Troia to see the promontory and the recently restored Castle of Punta Troia, and take a few breaks for a swim, here to relax and have lunch (for those who want, they can arrive from the land path from the town to Punta Troia, about two hours. In the late afternoon, navigation towards the small Levanzo (2 hours of navigation).
Levanzo (in Sicilian Levanzo) is made up of white limestone rocks that have numerous caves. The Greek name of the island was Phorbantia, probably due to the abundant amount of grass in the island. The town is made up of a small group of houses with a small port, which is about 15 km from Trapani. It has no rolling roads, apart from a small stretch of paved road that leads to the Faraglione beach. This condition of technological backwardness explains the integrity of its scenic beauty. We will continue in front of the village or in Cala Tramontana and we will go down with the Tender to explore the smallest of the Egadi.
Day6
Cala Tramontana
Awakening in Cala Tramontana and moving to the Pinetina towards Cala Ninnoli, after a swim in the Grotta del Genovese and a dip in Cala Fredda for lunch. In the late afternoon it will sail towards San Vito lo Capo, where you will spend the night in port or at anchor or in the port depending on the weather conditions. The town of San Vito Lo Capo will await you for a refreshing walk of Sicilian life. The heart of the town is Piazza Santuario overlooked by the sanctuary-fortress dedicated to the martyr San Vito, patron saint of the town. From here, via Savoia quickly reaches the sea, an irresistible attraction for everyone. Via Savoia, very busy especially in the evening, is a destination for shopping and relaxing walks, while young people meet at sunset for sparkling Happy Hours in the beach clubs. Musicians, street artists, stalls full of original artifacts enrich the long summer evenings.
Day7
San Vito Lo Capo - Palermo
From San Vito Lo Capo, we sail towards Punta Raisi (about 5 hours) and breakfast, and then stop for a swim and relax at the Isola delle Femmine, which is a small and charming town that rises not far from Palermo and its beautiful seafront. The same name is also given to a small islet that faces right there in front. After lunch we will calmly sail towards Palermo. Arrival in Palermo not before 6 pm for the late afternoon, free evening among typical aperitifs, tastings and excellent Sicilian wines and then overnight on the boat.
Saturday: Palermo

Yacht - Lagoon 40
A SLEEK AND INNOVATIVE DESIGN
With her new visual identity, the 40 immediately stands out. While faithful to the image of Lagoon’s "DNA", a new style is born: an individual, streamlined and accomplished design depicts her large portholes and panoramic view. This creates a refined and high-performance unit, emphasised by the chamfer running from the bow to the stern. A new generation Lagoon, recognisable at first sight.
