The route of the Greek pleasures
The port of departure and destination is the Kos Marina in Kos town, which is centrally located and therefore ideally located in the Dodecanese archipelago. Kos is the third largest island after Rhodes and Karpathos.
The archipelago of the Dodecanese (gr.: Twelve Islands) adjoins the Cyclades to the east. They belong to the southern Sporades and stretch west of the Turkish coast south to Crete. About 160 islands, islets and reefs are counted, of which only 25 are inhabited. The majority of the islands are quite close together and can be easily reached from Kos on a weekly sailing trip - so you are spoiled for choice.
Already on the first day of sailing you are in the middle of it and can decide whether you want to go north-west via Kalymnos to Leros, Lipsi, Patmos and maybe also to Levitha or Astipalea or whether the lesser known south-east with the almost untouched islands of Nisyros, Tilos and Symi is your destination .
In the Dodecanese there are green forested islands and also bare flat islands, there are lovely cypress groves and mountainous landscapes. You sail to dreamlike bathing bays and quaint harbor towns. The best fish is served on Telendos in a small taverna by the sea! On Kos you can stroll through the old town and enjoy the sparkling atmosphere in one of the cafés.
The predominantly dreamy islands of Lipsi, Patmos, Leros and Kalymnos invite you with beautiful bays and small paradise towns. Perfect to forget the time and to slow down. With good winds and a crew that likes to sail a lot, a detour to the diverse island of Astipalea or the small idyll Levitha is attractive.
Almost all islands played an important role in antiquity, traces of which can be found in many places. Traces of ancient civilizations can therefore be found in many places. Ancient citadels, famous castles and museums, as well as important archaeological sites are present on every island. The islanders are hospitable and sociable, as is traditional in Greece. In simple fishing ports you meet Greek families with ouzo and good food in the tavern.
Sailing along is an absolute pleasure for beginners and experts alike. Greece as you wish it to be!
The islands of the Dodecanese are known for excellent wind and sailing conditions. The Meltemi blows quite steadily from the north-west. Temperatures are already pleasant in spring, temperatures remain pleasant in summer due to the constant wind, and from May to October it hardly ever rains. The sea invites you to extensive bathing until November.

Day
1
Kos
We'll arrive in Marina Kos at 17:00, check in the yacht and buy food for the week. In the evening will be team briefing, open Party on the yacht.
There are two ways to get to marina Kos:
1st flight from Athens, 2nd flight to Turkish Bodrum and then on the ferry.

2
Kos — Pserimos — Vati
We'll start the day with a breakfast on the yacht, and then we'll go to the small picturesque island of Pserimos to swim and sunbathe. On the way we'll practice to put the sails, wishing can stand at the helm, someone can get on the bow of the yacht and read a book.
Our goal for this day is the island of Kalymnos. It's coastline is heavily indented, making the island an endless chain of large and small bays, capes, caves and beaches.
On Parking we'll stand in the town of Vati, locates in the greenest part of the island. The Bay, which cuts deep into the land and the steep cliffs surrounding it, creates an impressive sight, reminiscent of the famous Norwegian fjords. Leaving the yacht in the Marina, we will go to explore the island, have dinner in a local tavern, see the sights and swim.

Vati — Alinda
In the morning we'll have breakfast on the yacht and go towards Leros island. The island was occupied by the Italians, having a great influence on the local architecture.
The contours of the island form four wide bays: two in the center and one in the South and North. They are called the "four seas of Leros", each of which was used as a port. It is not surprising that Leros was such a popular place for the fleet of different countries: protected bays gave excellent opportunities for mooring.
We'll go for a walk around Agia Marina, the capital of the island, climb the ruins of an ancient fortress, sunbathe on the beaches of the resort of Alinda, and those who wish can visit the ruins of the ancient temple of Artemis, which is locate a few kilometers from the city.
We will stop at the night Parking in the equipped Marina of the island.

4
Lipsi
On the 4th day we'll go to meet the wild nature – visit the group of Islands of Lipsi with sandy beaches and clean water. Their rich flora and fauna are registered in the catalogue Natura 2000 protecting biodiversity of species. If you're lucky, will be able to see sea turtles and seals Monachus monachus.
The yacht has masks and fins for scuba diving, and fans of less active recreation will be able to lie on the beach with a book and sunbathe.
We'll have lunch in a local tavern and go to the island of Patmos – the extreme point of our journey. Here we'll spend 2 nights and one full day.

Patmos
Patmos is a UNESCO world heritage site and impresses with the beauty of its nature. It is worth combining long walks and medieval sightseeing, and after lunch we'll go to the local beaches. From small and deserted to large tourist – everyone will find a beach to taste.
In the evening we'll gather on the yacht, arrange our traditional carnival and go to conquer the local bars!

Leros - Lakki
We are heading towards Kos island, where we will arrive the next day, and in the meantime we will go around the island of Leros on the other side and make a Parking in the Central port city of Lakki. Along the way, those who wish to learn how to navigate the maps and the basics of yachting, and someone will again take the helm.
In Lakki you will not find traditional Greek architecture, the city was built by the Italians just before the Second World war. However, ancient Catholic and Orthodox churches have been preserved here. Obligatory to visit – the Church of Agios Theologos, which is considered one of the most beautiful on the island. It contains icons of the 11th century.
In the suburbs of Lakki you can visit the military Museum, built on the site of the Italian naval base during the Second World war.
We will prepare lunch on the yacht, swim and go for a walk around the city. At sunset we will have a picnic with local snacks and wine at the top of the hill with a great view of the Bay.

7
Lakki — Kos
We'll wake up quietly and have breakfast, we'll head towards the island of Kos.
For lunch, we'll make a stop in the capital of Kalymnos island, where we will enjoy the clear sea and the azure coast. Here you can buy Souvenirs to home, walk through the narrow streets and enjoy a Cup of Greek coffee on the waterfront.
After lunch on the yacht, we will head to our home Marina, where we will go beautifully at sunset. In the evening we will arrange a farewell party POTOK, where we will share our impressions of the journey and dream about the future.
In the morning of the 8th day we'll quietly wake up, have breakfast and leave the yacht until 9:00.

CABIN SIZES:
Booking your cabin is on a 'first come, first served' basis. There are 2 cabin types available:
Aft cabin: is at the back of the boat with the most room, however you will share a bathroom with the 2nd aft cabin.
Forward cabin: is at the front of the boat, and smaller due to the shape of the boat's hull. You have a private bathroom and shower in each of these.
When in port, you will have access to the marina facilities and we ask that you don't use the boat's facilities while in dock.
