Your sailing trip
A one way route from Split to Dubrovnik with classic islands, quiet bays and coastal towns across the Dalmatian Coast.
This seven day Split to Dubrovnik sailing cruise follows a classic island hopping route along the Dalmatian Coast, combining historic towns, quiet bays and some of the most scenic anchorages in Croatia. The journey begins near Split with a relaxed boarding in the afternoon, then continues south toward Brač, Vis, Hvar, Korčula, Mljet and the Elafiti islands before reaching the Dubrovnik area. The route offers a balanced mix of coastal landscapes, swimming stops, short walks ashore and time to enjoy life on a traditional wooden gulet.
Each island brings a different atmosphere. Brač is known for sheltered bays and stone villages. Vis offers quieter nature and preserved coastline. Hvar blends pine forests, coves and a lively old town easily reached by local taxi boat. Korčula stands out with narrow streets and views over the channel. Mljet adds national park scenery with pine forests and saltwater lakes. The Elafiti islands at the end of the route offer sandy coves and low hills before arriving near Dubrovnik.
The cruise moves at an easy rhythm with swimming from the boat, meals served outdoors and time to relax on deck. The captain selects anchorages according to weather and sea conditions, choosing the most comfortable bays for the day. Short passages keep the navigation calm while the landscape shifts from cliffs and vineyards to sandy beaches and open blue water.
This itinerary suits travelers who want a complete view of the Dalmatian Coast in one week and appreciate the slower pace of a gulet cruise. It combines coastal culture, island scenery and simple moments at sea, with evenings spent under the stars and mornings waking up in a new bay.

Island Walks and Coastal Villages
The route includes several opportunities to go ashore and explore local villages at your own pace. Hvar offers a historic square, narrow alleys and sea views from the upper streets. Korčula invites slow walks through its medieval layout and waterfront terraces. On Vis, you can enjoy quiet lanes, small cafés and the island’s preserved atmosphere. Lopud adds sandy paths lined with palm trees and views over its long bay. These optional walks give guests a simple way to connect with the islands, discover small details of local life and enjoy the coastal landscape before returning to the gulet for a relaxed evening.
Snorkeling in Clear Bays
Most days include at least one stop in sheltered bays where guests can snorkel in calm and clear water. The coastline between Brač, Vis, Hvar and the Elafiti islands offers gentle conditions with rocky bottoms, small fish and patches of sea grass. Snorkeling equipment is available on board and the crew selects anchorages with good visibility and easy access from the boat. It is a light, enjoyable activity suitable for all ages and a simple way to appreciate the natural environment around each island.
Optional Visit to Mljet National Park
During the stop on Mljet, guests can choose to visit the national park, known for its saltwater lakes, quiet paths and the small islet with a former monastery. The visit is optional and can be done independently, with time for an easy walk, a swim in the lakes or a short boat ride inside the park. It is one of the most scenic areas of the Dalmatian Coast and offers a pleasant change of landscape during the cruise, combining nature, calm water and shaded forest paths.
