Capri Exclusive Sailing Tour

We booked the Capri Exclusive trip via the desk at the train station in Sorrento the day before and were not disappointed. We hadn't intended booking the exclusive version but ended up being a good choice. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was handy. The boat was very comfortable and relaxing and our skipper Mario looked after us all very well. The blue grotto was closed on the day but we had good access to a number of other grottos. Sandwiches and drinks were available on board and time was provided for swimming if you wanted to. Mario arranged semi-private transport on the island with our driver Luigi who was also a bit of a character! You could opt out of this transport if you wished but it was useful in cutting out unnecessary queuing for busy buses and so on. It also gave you ample time to explore both Capri and Anacapri in the total of 4 hours allotted.

Wonderful boat tour of Capri! My parents and I enjoyed a full day boat tour of Capri with Tempio travel last week! The pickup from our hotel was easy and they then dropped us off at the dock in Sorrento to a boat that took us to Capri with about 10 other people. This was a good group size and we really enjoyed getting to know everyone. Our guide was friendly and shared interesting information and tips for seeing the island. Once we got close to the island he took us to the blue, green, and white grottos which were beautiful. The blue grotto is privately owned and we chose not to pay to go in, but the other two were included and beautiful. Next we docked in Marina Piccola and shared a taxi with our new friends to Anacapri. It was a little foggy in that morning so we chose not to take the chairlift up to the peak, but we spent about 3 hours exploring the town of Anacarpi. We then returned to the boat and since the sun had finally come out the captain let us swim/snorkel for a bit which was so wonderful! So surreal to swim in such a beautiful place! During our swim time the captain put out some snacks and offered us drinks. Also, on the way back to Sorrento we each received a shot of lemoncello. The ride back was wonderful and all in all it was a fantastic day! I definitely recommend this tour!
