"Najlipši grad na svitu" (the most beautiful city in the world) - that's what the residents of Zadar proudly call their city. The former capital of Dalmatia is situated on a peninsula bordered by two rivers. The side facing the mainland is simply called "Riva" - this is where the ferries and passenger ships dock, and this is where the fishermen bring their catch ashore every morning. On the other side, facing the islands, is the "new" Riva - here you stroll up and down, here lovers meet for a rendezvous, and for a few years now you can listen to the melodies of the sea organs, which are unique in the world. Between these Rivas lies one of the most beautiful old towns in Dalmatia, whose lifeline is the "Kalelarga" - the car-free main street with its boutiques and cafés. Itinerary
Day
1
Saturday: Zadar–Tribunj
Between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm embarkation in the port of Zadar. If you are travelling to Zadar in your own car, you can drive into the port and directly to your ship from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon at the latest. Here you can unload your luggage.
Our service team will help you to bring your luggage on board, which will first be left on deck until the cabins are ready for occupancy at 11:30 am. Then take your car to the parking garage reserved via Trip organizer and return to the port on foot (approx. 700 m). After embarkation, our representative will greet you with a welcome drink and get to know the crew and fellow passengers. After a snack on board, we set sail and first set course for one of the countless islands in the area, where we take the first bathing break of our trip. We continue towards Tribunj, a small fishing village located on an island connected to the mainland by a small stone bridge. After dinner on board, enjoy a glass of wine in one of the cosy tavernas or konobas.
The port of embarkation for passengers depends on flight times. If you book your flight and transfer via Tour Operator and arrive at Zadar airport by 12:00 noon, embarkation in Zadar is guaranteed; if you arrive later, embarkation takes place at the first port of overnight stay.

2
Sunday: Tribunj–Rogoznica
We leave Tribunj and sail through the archipelago of islands off the coast of Vodice and Šibenik. After an extensive bathing break and lunch on board, we head for Rogoznica. Like Tribunj, Rogoznica is also located on an island, but it is connected to the mainland by a causeway and is situated in a deeply cut, protected bay. Opportunity for dinner in one of the numerous restaurants in Rogoznica, overnight.

3
Monday: Rogoznica – Island of Vis
Today we set course for the “forbidden” island of Vis. The island of Vis was closed to foreign visitors until the end of the 1980s. Where once there was the runway of an air force base, wine is now grown. On our way to Vis, the main town of the island of the same name, we anchor in one of the bays on the north coast for a swim. The town of Vis lies in a deeply cut, sheltered bay. Vis is a charming little town with romantic alleys and cafés. In one of the many rustic konobas you can enjoy a wonderful evening.

Tuesday: Island of Vis – Island of Hvar
Our destination today is the “lavender island” of Hvar – the island is known for its mild climate and extensive lavender fields.
On the way, we call at a bay for swimming, where we also have lunch. The harbour of the main town of the same name on the island of Hvar is situated at the foot of a fortress, from which there is a fantastic view of the offshore island group “Pakleni otoci”. Opportunity for dinner in one of the numerous restaurants, overnight.

Wednesday: Island of Hvar – Island of Zlarin
Today we have a longer sea voyage ahead of us – the trip from Hvar to the island of Zlarin takes about five and a half hours. Of course, we will have an extended bathing break on the way before we enter the small harbour of the fishing village of Zlarin in the late afternoon. Opportunity for dinner in one of the restaurants and overnight stay.

Thursday: Island of Zlarin – Kornati Islands National Park–Telašćica Nature Park
“On the last day of creation, God wished to crown his handiwork, so out of tears, stars and breath he created the Kornati Islands,” wrote the Irish writer George Bernard Shaw. They are the largest and densest collection of islands in the Adriatic Sea – 147 islands, islets and reefs stretch for about 35 km. We sail the entire length of this nautical paradise, which was declared a national park in 1980. Of course, we will anchor in one of the beautiful bays with their crystal clear water for an extensive bathing break. Our destination today is the Telašćica Nature Park, a protected bay that is cut about ten kilometres deep into the island of Dugi Otok. Striking features are the steep cliffs up to 161 m high and the saltwater lake Mir, which are only a few minutes’ walk from the ship’s landing stage. In the idyll of this nature park, the Captain’s Dinner will be served today. Overnight stay in the Telašćica Nature Park.

7
Friday: Telašćica Nature Park–Island of Ugljan–Zadar
We leave the Telašćica Nature Park and head for one of the bays on the island of Ugljan for a last extensive swimming break
before returning to the starting point of our cruise. After arriving in Zadar, our guide will be waiting for you for a guided tour
of the old town surrounded by mighty walls. She will show you the most important sights – e.g. the Roman Forum, the round
church of Sveti Donat, the cathedral of Sveta Stošija and the sea organs, unique in the world, whose sound and “melodies” are
determined solely by the waves. Overnight stay in Zadar.
Saturday: Disembarkation
After breakfast, disembark until 9:00 am.

Yacht - Gulet
For years, the Škarica family has sailed our routes from Zadar with the wooden motorsailers
The focus in the early and late season was on our bike routes. In order to be able to offer our guests more comfort, the family decided a few years ago to build a new ship. Construction began in the Split shipyard as early as spring 2015, so that this gulet has strengthened our fleet just in time for the 2016 season. The modern steel ship not only has 17 comfortable cabins and a spacious saloon on the upper deck, but also a bicycle garage! This means that the bicycles and e-bikes no longer have to be heaved onto the upper deck by our tour guides and the ship's crew, but can be easily pushed onto the ship. While father Ante does not let the helm of the Dalmatino out of his hands, his sons Roko and Jure - both of whom have of course been captains for many years - steer the Carpe Diem through the island world. And the "good soul" mother Nada not only takes care of the logistics, but also makes sure that everything is always in the best order in the galley.

Other: sun deck (250 m²) with 27 sun loungers, bathing platform with showers at the stern. Salon with air conditioning for 36 people on the upper deck, comfortable seating in the lounge area on the covered upper deck behind the saloon, which can be closed with a tarpaulin depending on the weather.
