Sail a catamaran through the Ionian Islands of Greece, from Kastos and Kalamos to the harbor towns of Ithaca and Kefalonia, in the calm, turquoise waters west of the Greek mainland.
The cruise sails through the Ionian Sea, on the western side of mainland Greece, departing from Patras and moving through a string of smaller islands between Lefkada and Kefalonia, an area that stays largely untouched by mass tourism.
Sailing here favors short, sheltered hops between islands, helped along by a steady northwesterly breeze typical of the area, with many of the smaller islands reachable only by boat, since they have neither ports nor airports of their own.
The Ionian side of Greece stands out for its lush vegetation, shaped by higher winter rainfall than the rest of the country, with olive groves, vineyards, fruit trees and pine and cypress forests covering much of the islands. The water itself stays a clear, consistent turquoise across most anchorages.
Life on these islands moves at an unhurried pace, with fishermen and farmers forming much of the local population and a level of hospitality that often surprises first time visitors. Ithaca carries a particular historical weight as the legendary home of Homer's Odysseus, with a small museum and the remains of an ancient palace open to visit, while harbor towns such as Fiscardo and Kioni add a more polished, picturesque character to the route.
Most days combine a morning sail with time anchored for swimming, followed by a slower afternoon ashore in a village or a quiet bay, with evenings spent either in a small harbor or at anchor depending on the stop.

Day1
Boarding in Patras
Embarkation takes place in Patras, on the Greek mainland, with time to settle into the cabins before the first night spent on board in the harbor, ahead of the cruise beginning the following morning.
Day2
Kastos
Sailing into the Ionian leads to Kastos, a small, largely undeveloped island reachable only by boat, with a quiet harbor and clear water well suited to swimming.
Day3
Kalamos
The route continues to the nearby island of Kalamos, slightly larger than Kastos but similarly low key, with a small fishing village and a relaxed pace that reflects much of the inner Ionian.
Day4
Vathy on Ithaca
Sailing on to Ithaca, the boat moors at Vathy, the island's main town, set deep within a sheltered bay. Ithaca is best known as the legendary home of Homer's Odysseus, with a small museum displaying finds from local excavations and the remains of an ancient palace nearby.
Day5
Fiscardo on Kefalonia
A short sail leads to Fiscardo, a picturesque harbor town at the northern tip of Kefalonia, known for its traditional architecture and lively waterfront, having largely escaped the damage of the 1953 earthquake that affected much of the island.
Day6
Kioni on Ithaca
Returning towards Ithaca, the boat moors at Kioni, a small, scenic harbor on the island's northeastern coast, framed by hills and a handful of waterfront tavernas.
Day7
Oxia or Alikes, return to Patras and disembarkation
The final stop, weather permitting, is either Oxia, a small uninhabited island known for its untouched coastline, or the alternative anchorage at Alikes, chosen depending on conditions on the day. From there, the boat sails back to Patras, where the last night is spent on board. Disembarkation takes place the following Sunday morning, by 10am.

If you would like to use the air-conditioning for longer, then any additional hours are charged at 6 Euro per hour on both yachts (which is the running costs of the generator) - on 'share a yacht' cruises, that is split between all the guests who want the air-conditioning on.

If you would like your cook/hostess to cook one of our famous dinners (sundowner cocktail, appetizers, mains, wine or beer & dessert) the cost is 30 Euro per person (minimum 4 people).

This is one of the larger catamarans in the fleet, with a full flybridge and several separate lounging areas spread across the boat.
A full flybridge sits above the saloon, large enough to be its own dedicated space for the whole group, whether gathered around a table or simply taking in the view over the water.
The cockpit and saloon stay level and connected, with a forward lounge adding a third social area at the bow, set apart from the busier aft deck and well suited to a quieter spot during the day.
Cabins are bright and spacious, each with its own bathroom, and the layout can be configured for more privacy with fewer, larger cabins or for bigger groups with several cabins spread evenly across both hulls.
The exact catamaran assigned will be confirmed before departure, with comfort and layout kept consistent across similar vessels in the fleet.
