This itinerary threads through the eastern Caribbean, linking Martinique to the Grenadines in a string of short, sheltered crossings that suit confident sailors and relaxed guests alike. The route follows the natural chain of islands south from Martinique, taking in volcanic peaks draped in rainforest, long white sand beaches and some of the clearest anchorages in the Caribbean. Steady trade winds blow warm through most of the year, giving reliable sailing conditions with short hops between islands rather than long open crossings, so days on the water alternate easily with time spent swimming, exploring ashore or simply lounging in the cockpit. The Grenadines in particular are known for their scattered cays and shallow, protected bays, ideal for dropping anchor off a quiet beach or snorkelling over reef just steps from the boat. Local rum shacks, small fishing villages and beach bars along the way offer a relaxed taste of island life, while French and Creole influences color the culture on the Martinique side of the route. Day1
Welcome aboard in Fort-de-France
Guests are welcomed aboard in the early afternoon in Fort-de-France, with time to settle into the cabins and get to know the boat before a short safety briefing. The first hours are unhurried, giving everyone a chance to relax on deck and watch the harbour before casting off for a short sail to a nearby anchorage. The evening is spent quietly at anchor, with dinner on board and the first sunset of the trip.
Day2
South along the Martinique coast
The morning begins with a sail down the sheltered western coast of Martinique, passing small fishing villages and green hillsides before reaching a bay for a swim stop. The afternoon continues toward the island's southern tip, with time to snorkel over calm, clear water before anchoring for the night off one of the south coast's quieter beaches.
Day3
Crossing south into the Grenadines
An early start allows for the longer crossing south into St Vincent and the Grenadines, with steady trade winds making for a lively sail. By afternoon the boat reaches Bequia, where guests can go ashore to explore the harbourfront town, its small shops and waterfront bars, before returning aboard for a relaxed evening at anchor.
Day4
Mustique's quiet beaches
A short sail brings the boat to Mustique, known for its calm bays and soft sand beaches. The day is spent at a gentle pace, with swimming, paddling and time ashore to wander the island's low key beach bars, before anchoring for the night in a sheltered cove.
Day5
Snorkelling in the Tobago Cays
The boat sails on to the Tobago Cays, a cluster of small uninhabited islands protected by a horseshoe reef and among the best snorkelling grounds in the Caribbean. Much of the day is spent in and around the water, drifting over the reef and its resident turtles, with the boat anchored in calm, shallow water inside the reef for the night.
Day6
Union Island and Canouan
The route continues past Union Island, with its dramatic peaks rising steeply from the sea, and on toward Canouan, where quiet beaches and a handful of small settlements offer a slower pace. Time ashore can be combined with swimming and relaxing on deck, before a final night at anchor among the southern Grenadines.
Day7
Return sail and disembarkation
The final day begins with the long sail back north toward Martinique, retracing the route with the wind and offering one last chance to swim or relax on deck along the way. The boat arrives back in Fort-de-France in the evening, where the final night is spent at berth. After breakfast the following morning, guests disembark and the charter comes to an end.

The Tobago Cays marine park offers some of the clearest, most sheltered snorkelling in the Grenadines, with a resident population of sea turtles around the reef. Mask, snorkel and fins can be arranged on board, with the stop timed into the route when conditions allow.
