Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos and Cozumel are places that we will discover along the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Caribbean Sea. Here we will enjoy its beauty with adventure, entertainment and relaxation. But also of its traditions and customs, archaeological zones, beaches and even Mexican food. This paradise is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world, after that of Australia, so if you are a lover of snorkeling, apnea and / or diving, and even of cenotes, this will be a memorable trip !
Isla Mujeres, is a wonderful island located about 13 kilometers from Cancun. Its extension covers 500 meters wide and 7.5 kilometers long, and was home and hiding place of famous pirates !!!
To get to Isla Mujeres, you have to take a ferry from Cancun, and we recommend the ferry company "Overseas". The journey takes about 20 minutes, while you can enjoy the sea breeze and the changing colors of the ocean. In addition, it is possible to taste a refreshing drink and live music in the meantime! The pier is located in the maritime terminal of Av. Puerto Juárez and the ticket costs one $ 15USD per person.

Itinerary
Day1
Boarding at Isla Mujeres ferry station at 10 am.
After enjoying the food on board with fresh local products, we will pick up anchors to go snorkeling or diving near the Manchones reef, in the southern part of the island, where the Cancun Underwater Museum of Art is located. There we can observe more than 400 submerged sculptures of contemporary sculptors from Mexico and the world. After enjoying this unparalleled experience, we will again anchor to the Isla Mujeres Bay, and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of its sunset.
Day2
Islas Mujeres
After breakfast, we will discover a small but beautiful bay reef snorkeling. Later, we will take the dinghy to go to Playa del Norte, considered among the top 10 best beaches in the world in 2018, according to TripAdvisor. It is easy to spend a dream day while enjoying a stunning view of the sea with its turquoise waters. In addition, here the swell is almost zero and over many meters, there is very little depth. After we submerge its calm and crystalline waters, we will return to the ship, where a delicious delicacy aboard us!
In Isla Mujeres, it is ideal to rent a motorcycle or golf cart to make it much more fun and enjoyable to ride around the island. Also, we will visit the southern part of the island (Punta Sur) to know the Mayan ruins. This picture, together with the impressive landscape of cliffs, gleaming in its turquoise waters, will take us back in history as we stroll through the archaeological remains in the place.
We will end the day, in the most famous streets of the island, where it is possible to buy beach clothes, handicrafts, mezcal, dance salsa and discover its flavors!
Day3
Puerto Morelos
As soon as we have breakfast, we will sail to Puerto Morelos, a town located on the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. In addition to retaining part of its original character as a fishing village, it is a dream place to snorkel. The journey from Isla Mujeres to Puerto Morelos will take about 4 hours. Once moored in the "Marina el Cid", we will take some bikes and go to the town, which is less than 10 minutes away. There we will take a snorkeling tour to learn about coral reefs and multiple tropical fish with a park guide for approximately 2 hours. Then we will enjoy the streets and atmosphere of this charming town until the body endures!
Day4
Cenotes Route
This day, we will dedicate it to the famous Cenotes Route, where we will find a variety of more than twenty underground rivers connected to each other. The exact number of cenotes in the state is unknown, however, it is estimated that there are more than 2,500! To do this, the simplest is to rent a car, since carrying it out by public transport is not easy. This is one of the most popular attractions among locals and travelers, in addition to the paradisiacal beaches, since swimming in the crystalline waters of a cenote, they are the most beautiful and magical experiences that in few places can be done. Some of the activities that can be done on the Cenotes Route are: snorkeling, diving, free diving, zip-lining, cycling, rappelling, horseback riding, all-terrain excursions, diving and bird watching, among others. In addition, the cenotes were considered sacred places for the Maya!
At the end of the day, we will return to the boat to rest, because the next day we will sail towards Cozumel!
Day5
Ashore to get inspired from that Mexican atmosphere
After breakfast, we will sail from Puerto Morelos, to arrive at the Northwest part of the island of Cozumel, after 4 hours of crossing.
In the same bay, we will enjoy an always excellent snorkeling from our own boat! Get in the water and enjoy the times you want, there is a flat rate !!!
In the afternoon / evening we will go ashore to get inspired from that Mexican atmosphere that breathes through its streets and that leaves no one indifferent.
Day6
San Francisco reef at La Corona Beach
Again, to discover this exotic paradise, the best option is to rent a car. So after breakfast is what we will do, during the next two days. And here the reefs practically reach the shore of the beaches, so it is not even strictly necessary to go by boat to the farthest reefs, because in this way, we better optimize our time on the island.
We will go south to discover all the most attractive landscapes and places for snorkeling and diving like Dzul-Ha, or the San Francisco reef at La Corona Beach. Here we have bathrooms, dressing rooms and palapas with restaurant service where we can enjoy an incredible lunch with fresh fish, ceviches, lobsters, etc ... We will continue later to discover the spectacular area of El Palancar, a must for our holidays, where we can see dolphins, barracudas and manta rays among others! And here, near the shore, landscapes and aquatic life take away
