Sailing experience between Barcelona, Mallorca and Balearic Islands
Hello everyone, this year I decided to make the transfer in 10 days of the Jeanneau 53 departing from Barcelona where you will find the boat moored at the Real Maritime Club of Barcelona (practically at the end of La Rambla (center of Barcelona), after having to buy the food, having fuel and whatever else, we head to Palma de Mallorca with a night sailing; in the morning breakfast and arrival in Palma de Mallorca where you can visit it in all its splendor. On the 2nd day, a departure from Palma and heading to the island of Cabrera (protected island and accessible only by boat): there we will finally begin to swim and enjoy a Caribbean sea of incredible colors, staying there until the next day. The 3rd-day departure from the island of Cabrera and headed to Formentera passing east of Ibiza where you can take a bath in Cala San Vincent and then continue to Formentera where our Spanish friends will welcome us with open arms like every year by reserving a buoy for us in Espalmador island, also reachable only by boat. On the 4th day after having breakfast and following a nice swim, we will make seven miles heading towards Cala Saona. There we could for those who want to rent cars or scooters to visit the island of Formentera even from the ground. On the 5th day, a departure from Cala Saona heading to Ibiza on the north side, then stopping at Cala Comte passing through Es Vedrà and Es Vedranèl where it is said that it is the island of the sirens in the Odyssey of Ulysses. The 6th-day departure from Cala Comte and headed to the port of Ibiza where we could visit the old town. On day 7, breakfast and greetings departing from Ibiza airport.

Jeanneau 53 is a stylish-looking sailing yacht (refit 2018), representing Jeanneau’s new yacht line of larger cruisers and replaces the 54DS, which sold over 400 copies worldwide. Like the DS model, this new 53 features a blister-type coach roof, but with a much lower, sleeker profile. With its large rig, easily driven hull and spacious interior, it should appeal to many cruising sailors.
The deck is easy to get around and affords good visibility, while still providing enough headroom below. The saloon is light and airy with full-length settees on both sides and a big dinette table with folding leaves to starboard.
This large, comfortable cruiser can be configured just about any way you like and is surprisingly affordable. The discrete modern styling will turn a few heads in the harbor, and the long hull will turn miles easily out in open water. The spacious cockpit should work well both under sail and when entertaining.
Boat regularly registered as a Charter in Spain, a guarantee of comfort and carefree holidays. Very
comfortable and spacious, it was born for charter; very large cockpit for 14 people. It has 5 cabins, 3
bathrooms and a crew cabin; refrigerator and cold room. It is very fast and easy to manage. Excellent for a
holiday with friends!
