Your sailing trip
Greek easter sailing between Athens, Idra and other islands
Easter is a moment in which the whole of the Mediterranean offers celebrations of great charm and intensity. The Orthodox Easter falls one week after the Christian Easter, this year on the long bridge weekend between 25 April and 1 May.
So we will leave for Greece and sail from Athens, we will sail between the islands of its gulf, always beautiful and animated, to go to discover the rites and traditions of the Hellenic Easter. Passing through Poros, Egina, Methana, we will arrive to Idra where we will mix up with people to celebrate together.
We will live in beautiful sea, good food, fresh wind, sincere smiles and relaxed atmospheres, all that Greece always offers and that will offer even more in an uncrowded period of tourists and navigators. Come with us, Mother Greece never disappoints!

FEST AND TRADITION
The Orthodox Easter is felt throughout Greece but in some islands the celebrations are even more beautiful and intense. In Idra everything is linked to water and the sea, with processions and rites of great charm that take place on the harbor.
HISTORY AND CULTURE
MUSIC
They will be days of celebration for all Greeks and there will be moments in which to listen and dance beautiful Greek music. From rebetiko to sirtaki, maybe sitting at the tables of a typical Greek tavern.
FOOD AND WINE
Also in Greece Easter means typical recipes, ancient flavors that are mixed with the rites of Holy Week. Whether on board or in Greek taverns we will have fun discovering these traditions while savoring all the best of Greek cuisine.
SAILING
A route of about 90 miles in the Saronic Gulf, an area protected by the strong winds of Meltemi but which still offers constant winds. It will be a route between islands and islets, varied and fun where every day of navigation will be the discovery of new and reduced steps.
Travel organizer tips
ATHENS - Philosophy, art, history, politics and democracy were born here. A city in turmoil, full of clubs, of life, of taverns where to eat good Greek cuisine and listen to music. By day it is a pleasure to wander through its endless beauty breathing its great story.
POROS - The green island of Póros, with its immaculate beaches and the picturesque monastery of Zoodocho Pigh. It is actually composed of two islands, Kalavria and Sferia, connected to each other by a bridge. Small sheltered bays will welcome us and marvel.
AEGINA - Few foreign tourists but many Greek tourists. The sea is clear and the beaches are beautiful and sandy. Very interesting also the locality of Agia Marina and two fishing villages, Persika and Souvala.
IDRA - The Greek Portofino, they call it so for its unique beauty. Silence reigns here, there are no cars, only donkeys. The main village overlooks the crescent-shaped harbor, full of taverns and local living throughout the year.
