Sailing life and gastronomy is a challenging but fascinating experience. Greek seas, islands and mainland provide unique opportunity for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. The Sun shines in Greece more than 260 days per year! This, in combination with the surrounding sea, leads to very unique taste in everything produced , from aromatic tomatoes to sweet peaches. Slopes covered with oregano, olive trees and thyme, gardens filled with rosemary and basilico, every corner has its own gift for your taste.
Onboard cooking!
The sailing life itself is a unique gastronomic experience. It may be the space and facilities that are not spacious and sufficient like a restaurant's kitchen, but this enhances creativity and fantasy! Catch, prepare and cook our own fish, visit local delies and markets for fresh supplies and use the herbs found while hiking during. Of course EYsailing will provide the breakfast to start your day; organic honey from local producer, extra virgin olive oil, fresh seasonal fruits, local nuts and Greek yogurt is some tastes of your morning strength! Then a filling salad for lunch is always prepared on the spot and with what is available to keep you going for the afternoon swim and exploration. To replace all the energy of the day, the dinner is the main meal: either freshly cooked Greek recipes onboard or local gastronomy at the local restaurants!
Indicative menu options
These are some lunch options amongst others:
- Salad with white beans, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh parsley, olive oil and local feta cheese.
- Tuna and lentils salad with garlic, mint, carrot and vinegar.
- Orzo with rocket, cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and local "graviera" cheese.
- Omelette with fresh vegetables and feta cheese.
- The Queen of the summer: Greek salad.
- while some dinner options are:
- Fish soup with fresh and local fish (ideally fished by us!)
- Lasagna with fresh vegetables or minced meat from local farms.
- Local shrimps in tomato sauce and cheese - "saganaki".
- Risotto with fresh spinach, tomato sauce, onions and dill.

The experience includes 7 lunches, 3-4 dinners, snacks, soft drinks and local wines. The cost is 250€/person or 200€/person for vegetarian or vegan menus.

- Preveza to taste local shrimps , squids and cuttlefish or even visit local roe producers. - Spend a day in the lovely Kastos island and taste local tuna and swordfish fillet in a small traditional taverna by the sea. - Explore the super-old olive trees of Kastos. - Discover Kefalonian feta producers and vineyards and try local lobster and the famous Fiskardo restaurants. - Visit the olive-oil museum close to Asia Efimia in Kefalonia. - Have a fantastic sunset at Ampelonas vineyard exhibition in Corfu and taste exceptional Greek cuisine near the vineyard farm. - Catch our own fish with the most selective way of fishing, spearfishing with freediving , prepare them and cook them. - Arrange an onboard lunch or dinner with our partner BOND VIVEUR.
