Sailing Vacation From Martinique to Granada

Sailing Cruise Martinique - Saint Lucía - Saint Vincent - Bequia - Mayreau - Tobago Cays - Unión Island -Pequeño Saint Vincent - Grenada

The daily routine of your sailing holidays with us is very simple ... Imagine that you get out of bed and if you feel like it, you directly take a dip in the sea, which you have a few meters from you. Breakfast on the deck / terrace, some activity like swimming, snorkeling, etc. and we raise anchors to our next little house to eat. These crossings will normally be short, of one or two hours, which we will use to sunbathe and relax on deck. Afterwards, bath, food, nap ... thrown in the sun, to finally perhaps, change our cove to spend the night, in which, depending on the point of the map, you can go out to enjoy the party of the place well ride us the party on board or on the beach, with the rest of the crews.

During your sailing boat holidays, we will stay a maximum of 8 people including skipper and sailor The boat will be our apartment and our means of transport.

To start our sailing boat holidays, we will stay at the Marina Du Marin, Le Marin, Martinique, in a cafeteria near the boarding ponds, on Saturday, February 22, 2020 to talk about safety standards, behavior on board, knowledge of the ship, etc. and prepare the grocery shopping list for the sailboat trip under the instructions of the skipper.

Upon returning from the purchase, after stowing it and putting the boat to the sea, we have dinner and the next day soon in the morning we will sail towards St. Lucia, where once anchored, we bathe, swim, dive ... and start Enjoy our sailing boat holidays in the Caribbean !!!

The route planned for this trip is not contractual and must be adapted and modified according to weather conditions, sea conditions, wind and safety considerations for the crew and the vessel estimated by the skipper. Conditions of various kinds during the trip, adverse winds, waves and safety reasons of the crew and / or the ship can modify this itinerary without thereby generating the right to claim.

Itinerary

Day 1
MARTINIQUE:
Arrival at the Fort de France airport. Transfer to the port of Le Marin (30 mins. Approx.) To embark and check-in on the boat and acquire the necessary food for the crossing, although fruit, vegetables and fresh products are in the rest of the islands it is interesting to take off This arduous task to then be unconcerned and enjoy to the fullest. Once installed, we can have our first aperitif enjoying the first tropical sunset. The next day soon in the morning and after doing all the paperwork to leave the country, we embark on our sailboat and head towards the island of Saint Lucia.
Day 2
MARTINICA - SAINT LUCIA:
Saint Lucia is one of the eight independent islands in the Lesser Antilllas. To the north, in Rodmy Bay, we will anchor and take advantage to change Caribbean dollars and pay permission to visit the Pythons (in the southwest), the authentic icons of the island, two 800-meter peaks that emerge from the sea and that are represented in The flag of the country with two triangles. In the village of Soufrière, the base of Petit Piton, the smallest of the twin pinnacles, we will enjoy one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Caribbean. We will also anchor in the beautiful bay of Marigot, famous pirate hideaway and where we will leave the country. On the beach there are quite lively bars and marching ...
Day 3
SAINT LUCIA - BEQUIA:
We will sail to reach the first island of Las Granadinas, Bequia, (which belongs to Saint Vicent and the second largest in this paradisiacal archipelago) and after a pleasant navigation, we will anchor in its huge bay and make the entrance to the country. Halfway we will pass by the beautiful island of Saint Vincent, with its mountains plummeting into the sea. Once there, we can swim, dive, go shopping at the different shops, meet the peculiar people of the place, take excursions with Jeeps or rest with a good nap on the boat, as you wish. Also in this journey, there are many possibilities to see flying fish, dolphins and even whales. Be aware!
Day 4
BEQUIA - TOBAGO CAYS:
We will head to the Tobago Cays, the famous islands that are often the representative image of the Caribbean. We arrived in less than an hour (2 nautical miles). The lagoon formed by the wide barrier of coral is protected allowing swimming with turtles and watching thousands of exotic fish. If you like snorkeling, this is your moment! This beautiful lagoon surrounds the five small islands of the small archipelago of Tobago Cays and is one of the paradises for sea lovers. It is known as the most beautiful lagoon in the entire Caribbean, so it is not surprising to see boats around it.
Day 5
TOBAGO CAYS - MAYREAU:
After enjoying the entire diversity of the lagoon for a whole day, we will leave the Tobago Cays to reach the island of Mayreau. We will anchor in a protected bay with a paradisiacal beach facing west. The most intrepid and in good shape will be able to venture along the uphill road that will take them to the top of the mountain from which the Grenadines archipelago can be seen in its entirety. On the small island of Mayreau, it is one of the greatest exponents of the virgin Caribbean. It can be bordered without finding virtually no inhabited nucleus since most of its 300 inhabitants live in the town of Old Wall, in the upper southwest part of the island. You can not miss a walk through this small village, where in addition to reggae bars and restaurants, there are colorful local rum shops and a picturesque stone church with lintels of doors and windows painted red.
Day 6
MAYREAU - UNION ISLAND:
We will sail to Union Island, the southernmost of the Grenadines islands where we will spend the rest of the day on land and we can do some shopping ... On the way there we will make a stop at the tiny island of Mopion, very popular with tourists by having only one umbrella planted in the middle of the sand. We will have a fun time taking pictures sitting next to "the umbrella".
Day 7
UNION ISLAND - PETIT SAINT VINCENT:
In Union Island we will leave the country of the Grenadines, as we will head to Petit Saint Vincent, a beautiful private island where the exclusive "Hide Away" Hotel is located. The resort blends completely with the landscape. This is an essential stop; you will definitely like the lagoon and the beach of postal. Good time to refuel and refill the freshwater tank on the neighboring island of Petite Martinique.
Day 8
PETIT SAINT VINCENT - CARRIACOU / CARRIACOU - GRANADA
Carriacaou no longer belongs to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines but belongs to Granada. Here we can take a bus for excursions or continue exploring beaches that will not fail to surprise us before its impressive paradisiacal beauty. Day 8: CARRIACOU - GRANADA: Granada is an island of the most beautiful and with authentic beaches of postcard, and where we can enjoy a shower in natural waterfalls, so we will go to the bays located in the southern part such as Pirckly Bay or Calivigny Island, and where we can immediately detect that we are in an area with residential constructions of megarricos. Also here we can find again supermarkets and services. There is also the possibility of visiting Saint George, its colorful capital, where there is also the first park with underwater sculptures from around the world: The Underwater Sculpture Park, in Moliniere Bay and north of the city.
