We invite you to embark on a fantastic trip to the shores of Iceland on a yacht. Iceland is a dream destination, though sailing allows seeing the island from a whole new angle. We will head for volcanic beaches and dunes, waterfalls and black dolphins. Hot springs, geysers, and volcanoes – everything in Iceland boils and is ready to explode any minute.

Itinerary
Day1
Thorlakshofn
Arrival to the marina. Check-in after lunch. Group meeting, introducing the crew. Thorlakshofn is one of two largest ports in Iceland located 52 km away from Reykjavík with amazing volcanic beaches and Arnarker Cave nearby.
Day2
Thorlakshofn – Vestmannaeyjar
Vestmannaeyjar is a small archipelago (about 16 km²) off the south coast of Iceland. It is a resting place for migratory birds during seasonal flights. Some species even nest in the islands’ cliffs. Surtsey is t newest island of the archipelago and one of the youngest in the world; it emerged on November 14, 1963. The Bjork’s legendary house is hidden on one of the islands.
Day3
Vestmannaeyar
We will explore the archipelago and go fishing.
Day4
Vestmannaeyar – Thorlakshofn
Going back to Thorlakshofn. You can spend an evening walking along the deserted beaches and enjoy the cozy cafes.
Day5
Thorlakshofn – Grindavík
Grindavík is a small town with a population of about 2,800 people. The name of the city is translated as "black dolphin bay.” The city is located in a cozy harbor where locals have traditionally been engaged in whaling and fishing.
Day6
Grindavík – Keflavík
We will sail around the Reykjanes Peninsula and end up in Keflavik. In the 70's Keflavík was called the city of musicians, and now cultural life is pulsing through the city veins. Musicians from all over the world still gather here. There is even The Icelandic Museum of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The most famous landmark in the Keflavík area is the Blue Lagoon, a complex of thermal pools of different temperatures. We will certainly visit.
Day7
Keflavik – Reykjavík
Day in Keflavik and surroundings. The Krýsuvík volcanic system is situated nearby; we will go there in the morning. Here everything boils, gurgles, spits dirt and boiling water, and the surrounding landscape is so fantastic that feels like another planet, young and hot. The largest and deepest lake Kleifarvatn on the Reykjanes Peninsula is located in the Krýsuvík area. In the evening we will head towards Reykjavík. Disembark before 09:00. If you wish, you can continue your journey through Iceland or stroll around the city. Reykjavík is the most northern capital city in the world. We will explore the cozy streets of the old town, thermal pools and the symbol of the city – the ancient volcano Esja.

How to get to the marina from the airport?
Keflavik international airport is located not far from Reykjavik and Thorlakshofn
Iceland has a very convenient website with all bus routes, timetables and the possibility of booking tickets: publictransport.is
Transfer options:
1. Roundtrip shuttle from the airport to Reykjavik costs around 40 eur
2. From Reykjavik to Thorlakshofn you can go through Selfoss: there are lot's of buses from Reykjavik to Selfoss , then from Selfoss to Thorlakshofn there is a bus 74.
A taxi to Thorlakshofn will cost about 200 - 300 eur.
