In March we will enjoy the warm sun of Thailand, eat ripe fruits and sail around tropical islands of the Mu Koh Chang region.
The Mu Koh Chang region has no multi-floor hotels and shopping malls like Phuket or Pattaya. Only protected nature, picturesque jungle, sandy beaches and coral reefs. And there aren't any crowds of tourists, as many uninhabited islands can only be reached by boat.
Itinerary
Day1
Koh Chang
First day is all about oraganizational duties: check-in, purchase of groceries and safety briefing.
Day2
Koh Klum
While going to Koh Klum island we’ll learn basic sailing skills and train to take the wheel. Koh Klum island is uninhabited and covered with green jungle. We’ll reach it’s sandy beaches by motor boat.
Day3
Koh Wai
Koh Wai island is a perfect place for snorkeling. You can find different types of coral reefs and fishes there.
Day4
Koh Rang
Koh Rang is famous for it’s white sandy beaches, so we’ll spend some time enjoying relaxing atmosphere of the island and go snorkeling again. Then we’ll have a walk around the island and have dinner in one of the local restaurants.
Day5
Koh Kood
Koh Kood is the second largest island in the Mu Ko Chang archipelago. It is worth staying here for a few days to enjoy the tropical nature.
There are plenty of activities there, such as kayaking in the Khlong Jao River and going up to reach the Khlong Jao waterfall, where you can have a swim.
In the evening we will gather the whole team for a picnic to celebrate and our traditional carnival.
Day6
Koh Kood
We’ll continue exploring Koh Kood island with it’s waterfalls, small fishing villages and white beaches.
Day7
Koh Bai Dang – Lao Ya – Koh Chang
On the last day of the voyage we will have several sea crossings, where we’ll consolidate the skills of marine navigation. Each participant will take the wheel supervised by the captain.
During the crossings we’ll make several stops on Bai Dang and Lao Ya islands to enjoy swimming and fishing.
In the evening we’ll arrive at our home marina on Ko Chang Island and have a farewell party.
On the 8th day we’ll leave the boat until 9 a.m. Those who wish can continue exploring Koh Chang island or travel to other parts of Thailand.
