The design of the Dufour Catamaran 48, created by naval architect Umberto Felci, makes outdoor living the organizing principle of the entire boat. The flybridge is genuinely large, with an L-shaped settee, a double sunpad forward of the helm and stair access from both sides of the deck. From up there the helm station keeps all sail controls within reach, so the boat can be handled entirely from the upper deck without asking guests in the cockpit to move. A dedicated forward lounge area just ahead of the coachroof adds a third outdoor space, suited to quiet reading underway or sunbathing at anchor.

The cockpit sits at the same level as the saloon and connects to it through wide glazed sliding doors, creating a continuous indoor-outdoor living area that works particularly well for groups. The cockpit itself accommodates eight around the main table and includes an integrated barbecue on the stern, making it a practical outdoor kitchen for evenings at anchor. Below, the 360-degree loft-style saloon is bright and open, with the galley positioned as a peninsula that separates the cooking area from the dining and navigation space without closing either off.

Each cabin has its own direct access from the cockpit rather than through the saloon, which means guests can move between their cabin, the heads and the deck without crossing the common areas. Natural light enters through large hull windows and overhead hatches, and headroom throughout is comfortable for standing use. The galley is equipped for real cooking at sea, with oven, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher and an island workspace that sets this class of catamaran apart from smaller charter boats.

The Dufour Catamaran 48 is available in three, four or five cabin configurations, accommodating up to twelve guests depending on the layout. The exact model will be confirmed before departure while maintaining the same standard of space and onboard comfort.
