Sail a classic ketch from Antigua to the pink sand beaches of Barbuda, chic St Barth and volcanic Saba, with full board, a professional crew and a relaxed cruising pace.
Antigua is the starting point for a Caribbean voyage that links some of the most distinctive islands of the Leeward group. From Falmouth Harbour, overlooked by the historic dockyard of English Harbour, the cruise heads north through warm, trade wind waters.
The pace is relaxed, with a mix of sailing days and days spent at anchor or in port. Passages between the islands are long enough to enjoy the open sea, while the stops leave time to swim, walk ashore or simply stay aboard.
Barbuda offers kilometres of almost empty beaches, including the pink sand of Low Bay, and a mangrove lagoon that is home to a large frigate bird colony. Saba rises steeply from the sea, a green volcanic island of small villages and mountain slopes, while St Barth is known for fine sandy bays and clear water.
Gustavia, the harbour of St Barth, adds a French touch with its cafes, boutiques and marina. Saba and the green hills of Montserrat show the natural variety of the region.
Life on board follows the rhythm of a classic yacht: breakfast on deck, a welcome dinner and a captain's dinner, full board prepared by the crew, and water sports such as SUP, canoeing and snorkeling from the boat. The route may change with wind and weather.
Itinerary
Day1
Embarkation at Falmouth Harbour
Arrive in Antigua and transfer to Falmouth Harbour to join the yacht. Meet the crew, settle into your cabin and enjoy a welcome dinner on deck with a view of the historic harbour of English Harbour.
Day2
Along the coast of Antigua to Barbuda
After a relaxed breakfast on deck the yacht casts off and sails along the scenic coast of Antigua. A swim stop in a sheltered bay breaks the passage before the yacht sets course for Barbuda, the quiet sister island of Antigua.
Day3
Barbuda and its pink sand beaches
Barbuda welcomes you with kilometres of almost empty beaches. Low Bay stands out for its slightly pink sand and clear water. If you wish, visit the frigate bird sanctuary in the mangrove lagoons, or simply enjoy a quiet day on the beach and in the sea.
Day4
Under sail towards St Barth
Depending on wind and sea conditions, the yacht leaves Barbuda and heads for St Barth. A long day under sail gives time to enjoy the open Caribbean and, with a little luck, to spot dolphins or sea turtles. The yacht then reaches Gustavia, the stylish harbour of an island often compared to St Tropez.
Day5
Exploring St Barth
Today there is time to explore the island: pretty bays, boutiques, small cafes and fine viewpoints. You can also choose a relaxed beach day or simply enjoy life on board.
Day6
Sailing to Saba
Depending on wind and sea conditions, the cruise continues to Saba, one of the most remarkable islands of the Caribbean. Rising steeply from the sea, this volcanic island has a spectacular landscape.
Day7
Saba, a hidden natural paradise
The morning is free to get to know the unspoilt island, with its small villages and lush mountain slopes, before the yacht sets course again.
Day8
Sailing on to Montserrat
The route continues towards Montserrat, the "Emerald Isle of the Caribbean", with its green hills, black sand beaches and the dramatic landscape of its volcano. Stops and timing depend on wind and sea conditions.
Day9
A relaxed passage back to Antigua
The yacht heads back towards Antigua. Depending on wind and sea conditions, the time at sea is for enjoying life on board and the open Caribbean, with swim stops when possible.
Day10
Return to Falmouth Harbour
The yacht returns to Falmouth Harbour for the captain's dinner and the last night aboard. After breakfast the next morning you disembark and either head home or extend your stay in the Caribbean.
Important Note
This itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions, sea state and operational requirements. The captain may adjust the route, anchorages and overnight stops to ensure safety, comfort and the best possible sailing experience.

A large classic ketch with teak decks, generous outdoor spaces and thirteen air-conditioned cabins, each with its own bathroom.
This classic two-masted sailing yacht combines a timeless profile with the comfort of a much larger ship. Wide teak decks offer shaded dining areas aft, relaxed lounging spaces and plenty of room to stretch out under sail or at anchor.
Below deck, thirteen double cabins are all air-conditioned and each has its own bathroom with a separate shower, a wardrobe, a hairdryer and 230 V sockets. Ten Deluxe cabins can be arranged with twin or double beds, while three Long cabins feature a large double bed.
The saloon in the deckhouse and a fully equipped bar create a social heart for the voyage, while a professional crew looks after sailing, meals and service. The yacht accommodates up to twenty-six guests, matching the twenty-six berths in the thirteen guest cabins.

Travel organizer tips
What should I pack for a sailing cruise in the Caribbean?
Bring light, quick-drying clothes, swimwear, a sun hat, reef-safe sun cream and soft-sided luggage that is easy to stow. A light layer is useful for evenings at sea and comfortable shoes for walking ashore on Barbuda, St Barth and Saba.
Travelling solo?
A single traveller can book a cabin for sole use, with a supplement of 80% on the per-person price in a double cabin.
Getting to Antigua
Antigua is reached by air. Condor flies from Frankfurt about once a week in winter and British Airways flies from London almost daily, with connections via Toronto also possible. An extra night in English Harbour before the cruise is a good idea.
