Your sailing trip
A week of cabin charter sailing from Tenerife to La Gomera and La Palma, with volcanic hikes, forest trails and swim stops in clear Atlantic water.
This cruise starts and finishes in Tenerife and explores the western Canary Islands, where steep volcanic coastlines rise straight out of the Atlantic. Tenerife, La Gomera and La Palma are close enough to sail between in a day or an overnight passage, and each has a very different character.
The passages between the islands are the main sailing of the week, with open water crossings and shorter hops along the coast. The route is flexible and is adapted to the wind, the sea state and the wishes of the group.
Anchorages sit beneath dark cliffs and in quiet coves, with clear water for swim stops and snorkelling. The dinghy can be used to look into sea caves along the shore.
Ashore, La Gomera offers trails through ancient laurel forest above the clouds, while La Palma has volcanic landscapes, mountain waterfalls and fresh lava fields. Small harbours and local restaurants make an easy place to end the day.
Life on board is relaxed and sociable. The group shares meals, takes part in sailing the boat and finds time to swim and walk, so the week mixes real sailing with exploring the islands.
