A round-trip cabin charter sailing holiday from Corfu through the Northern Ionian, linking the Sivota islands, the Venetian-flavoured town of Parga on the Greek mainland, the turquoise beaches of Antipaxos and the harbour villages of Paxos.
The cruise starts and ends in Corfu, the northernmost of the main Ionian Islands, and follows a circular route south along the Epirus coast before crossing to the small islands of Paxos and Antipaxos and returning north. The Northern Ionian is greener than most of Greece, with olive groves, cypress and pine running down to clear, sheltered water.
Distances are short and the pace is easy. Most days combine a gentle sail with swim stops, time ashore and an evening in a harbour or a quiet bay, which leaves plenty of room to slow down. The exact route and the overnight stops follow the wind, the sea state and the space available in each harbour.
The scenery is the main reason to come: the Sivota and Mourtos islands with their blue lagoon and sea caves, the twin bays of Parga below its castle, the pebble beaches of Voutoumi and Vrika on Antipaxos, and the secluded coves and sea caves along the coast of Paxos.
Ashore there is plenty to discover: the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Corfu with its Venetian fortress, the tavernas lining the Sivota marina, the castle and waterfront of Parga, the harbour of Gaios with its seafood tavernas and the village of Lakka, a favourite with swimmers and divers.
Life on board is sociable and unhurried. The group shares the swims and the evenings in port, with free time ashore to explore at your own pace, and the week ends with the return to Corfu.
Itinerary
Day1
Corfu
Boarding takes place in Corfu, with time to enjoy the Old Port and the UNESCO-listed Old Town, a maze of narrow lanes, tavernas, local product markets and antique shops framed by the Venetian fortress. If conditions allow, the first evening may include a short sail across the channel to the mainland harbour of Plataria before settling in for the night.
Day2
Sivota - Mourtos Islands
The route follows the Epirus coast south to the Sivota and Mourtos islands, a cluster of green islets covered in olive groves and surrounded by crystal clear water. The highlights are a swim in the Blue Lagoon and the famous Papanikolis cave, followed by an evening stroll around the traditional marina village and a meal at one of the tavernas lining the shore.
Day3
Parga
Parga sits on the Ionian coast of Epirus, with a bay on either side of the village, a Venetian castle on the headland and plenty of bars and water sports along the waterfront. The day includes a swim stop in the bays nearby and time to walk up to the castle. Space in the small harbour is limited, so a water taxi may be needed to reach the shore.
Day4
Antipaxos
The small island of Antipaxos has quiet, secluded bays and the famous beaches of Voutoumi and Vrika, where the water is turquoise and the shore is pebbled. There is time to snorkel, to walk along the clifftop and to simply enjoy a lazy afternoon at anchor, with a clear night sky overhead in the evening.
Day5
Paxos - Gaios
Paxos is best known for its excellent olive oil and for its lush green scenery. Gaios, the main harbour, is a lively village with tavernas run by local fishermen serving fresh seafood and meze. The nearby Blue Caves are one of the highlights of the day, and the island can be explored on foot, by bicycle or on a short bus tour, with secluded coves for swimming and sunbathing.
Day6
Lakka - Paxos
The northern part of Paxos is packed with secluded coves and sea caves, a real playground for anyone who loves swimming and snorkelling. Lakka is a small, vibrant village with shallow, clear water, known as a diving spot, with bars and tavernas along the shore. The boat anchors in one of the sheltered coves nearby for the night.
Day7
Corfu
The cruise returns to the Old Port of Corfu in the afternoon, leaving time to wander through the Old Town, climb to the Venetian fortress for a view over the city, visit the museums and churches or look for local souvenirs. The last night is spent in Corfu, and disembarkation takes place the following morning.
Important Note This itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions, sea state and operational requirements. The captain may adjust the route, anchorages and overnight stops to ensure safety, comfort and the best possible sailing experience.

Travel organizer tips
What to pack for a sailing holiday?
Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light, but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? What's a Typical Day Like on a Yacht Charter?
Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor, ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience? Discover more in our guide: What's a typical day like on a sailing holiday?
Who Handles Cooking and Cleaning on a Yacht Charter?
On skipper-only charters, guests usually share cooking and cleaning duties, think salads, pasta, and good teamwork. If there's a hostess, light meals and tidying are included, but it's still a casual, collaborative vibe. On fully crewed yachts, you'll enjoy full service with a chef and crew managing everything. What Happens in Case of Bad Weather During a Sailing Holiday?
Summer sailing holidays rarely face major weather issues, but when the sea gets rough, skippers adjust the route for your safety. Expect protected bays, marina stops, or a change in plan. These moments often lead to unexpected gems: local towns to explore, time to relax on board, or cozy dinners ashore. Curious about how crews handle these changes?
