Ibiza and Formentera Sailing Cruise Experience

The incredible azure waters and limestone rocks of the Balearics are going to make for a stunning backdrop to this cabin charter in the Mediterranean sea!

The Balearic Islands and their intrinsic beauty await you this summer for a refreshing swim in their blue blue waters. Spectacular trails in the inland, secluded creeks , the unique green of the olive trees and the evoking perfume of citrus orchards will be the frame for a special sailing adventure. Many days of laying in white sand beaches listening to the sea surf and swimming in forgotten bays will make this sailing holiday a really amazing experience.

The Balearic Islands are also quite famous for their mega clubs and lively nights among exotically colorful cocktails, addictive music and  lights effects an exciting experience for those who already had the pleasure of a visit and those who are just now starting to plan such a yacht cruise vacation in the Mediterranean sea.

Itinerary

Day 1
Ibiza
Boarding on Tuesday afternoon from 6.00 pm at the Ibiza Marina, where a welcome drink will be waiting for you: a moment to get to know us all, but above all to know the boat, especially for those who have never had a vacation on a boat. You can reach the Marina from the airport with the Bus nr. 10 at a cost of 3.50 euros In the evening, after having taken a seat in your cabin (as indicated by the skipper) and met the other members of the crew, ready to go !!! ... evening in the narrow streets of the old town of Ibiza with a dinner of local specialties. Whoever wants, will be able to wait for the parade of discos for the city. It is always a fun show with music and dancing ..
Day 2
Espalmador
After breakfast there will be a briefing with the skipper before going, all together, to do the weekly galley (food shopping and drinks). Around noon we will be ready to maneuver to leave the mooring sailing for about 10 miles towards the natural reserve of Espalmador. This island can be reached only by boat: we will find miles of totally virgin white sand beaches, without any construction, except for a watch tower, the Torre de Sant Guardiola; so we will be in an exclusive and wild place at the same time. A dip, a walk along the beautiful white and pink beach, a visit to the salt pans and we will enjoy the first aperitif with a beautiful sunset!
Day 3
Es Vedrá
In the morning, when we wake up, we will have our breakfast together, surrounded by an exceptional spectacle of nature. A beautiful swim in the crystal clear waters is off towards the west of Ibiza passing through Es Vedrà, for those who reach it for the first time: the magical island! Es Vedrà is wrapped in an aura of mystery and fascinating myths and suggestive legends revolve around it: some claim that it is the island of the Sirens told in the Odyssey of Ulysses, others a remnant of the submerged civilization of Atlantis. We then continue to the Puesta del Sol, an Ibizan ritual that will remain one of the most indelible memories of the trip: the breathtaking sunset of Cala Comte, with the Conejera island as a backdrop, in one of the most beautiful chiringuitos, enjoying the moito sitting on the cliff.
Day 4
Formentera
When we wake up in Cala Comte we will take our last swim in this bay before hoisting the sails towards Cala Tarida, Cala D’Hort and Cala Llentresca: away like this to Formentera passing by the red cliffs of Porroig. In the evening we will sleep in Illetes: the famous sand tongue of Formentera. The name means "beach of the small islands" and is so called because it is protected by several islets. Fine white sand, turquoise waters, totems made up of piles of stones erected by the hippies as a sign of their passage and as a good omen ... and a double sea, calm on one side, a real earthly paradise, and moved on the other, where surfers are always looking for waves to ride. Aperitif on the boat at sunset sign and then have dinner all together ...
Day 5
Formentera - Punta Rosa
By now it's already Saturday, but we want to take you further south ... to show you one of the most suggestive bays in Formentera we go as far as Cala Saona. Even here the water is fantastic, you can see from the reflections on the boats hulls already from a mile away. Quiet and of a heavenly beauty, the soft white sand beach offers beautiful views of Punta Pedrera and Punta Rosa and offers the possibility of beautiful walks immersed in a verdant and silent panorama. There are also sheer cliffs under which to snorkel, and here we will find the best mojito in the Balearics! The sunset on the coast is a show not to be missed: the contrast between the red color of the rocks and the intense blue of the sea, in addition to the background view of the island of Ibiza, is something truly unique in the world.
Day 6
Formentera - Es Pujols
On Sunday we will leave for a sail around the island of Formentera passing through Escalo ', making baths is here, and then anchoring in the evening in Es Pujols to go ashore to visit Formentera and for those who want good live music at Teatro Pereyra, the memory to take home will be even more beautiful! But even nightclubs are not lacking for those who want to make mornings!
Day 7
Sant’Antonio
Departure in the morning sailing after a swim from the island of Formentera and headed to the salt pans of Ibiza for a last quick lunch all together is then off to the marina for disembarking. During our sailings the notion of sailing will also be interesting to be able to steer and stay a bit at the winches, otherwise what sailing holiday is it? The disembarkation is scheduled the next morning by 12:00. Check out The itinerary may undergo variations based on the meteorological conditions, safety and technical assessments of the Captain of the boat. This program is intended as an indication and not binding.

Jeanneau 53

Jeanneau 53 looks really extraordinary and is built to sail fast.

Jeanneau 53 is a stylish-looking sailing yacht, representing Jeanneau’s new yacht line of larger cruisers and replaces the 54DS, which sold over 400 copies worldwide. Like the DS model, this new 53 features a blister-type coach roof, but with a much lower, sleeker profile. With its large rig, easily driven hull and spacious interior, it should appeal to many cruising sailors.

The deck is easy to get around and affords good visibility, while still providing enough headroom below. The saloon is light and airy with full-length settees on both sides and a big dinette table with folding leaves to starboard.

This large, comfortable cruiser can be configured just about any way you like and is surprisingly affordable. The discrete modern styling will turn a few heads in the harbor, and the long hull will turn miles easily out in open water. The spacious cockpit should work well both under sail and when entertaining.
