A one week catamaran holiday from Kos to the volcanic island of Nisyros and the quiet shores of Tilos, with swim stops at Yali and long evenings at anchor.
This one week cruise starts from Marina Kos and sails south and west into the quietest corner of the Dodecanese, where the volcanic island of Nisyros and the long, green island of Tilos sit far from the busiest charter routes. The route is a loop, so the boat is back at the base on the last day without any long transfer.
The days are easy to plan around, with a morning sail, a swim before lunch and a slow afternoon at anchor. The wide decks and the stable platform of a catamaran suit families, groups of friends and crews who prefer swimming and exploring ashore to long days under sail.
The scenery changes from the open beaches of southern Kos to the dark volcanic coast of Nisyros, the white pumice shores of the small island of Yali and the green valleys behind the bay of Livadia on Tilos. In summer the afternoon breeze can freshen, so the route leaves room to choose the more protected anchorage on the day.
Ashore, the cruise offers small harbour villages with tavernas on the waterfront, the white town of Mandraki on Nisyros and the chance to walk up to the crater of its volcano, one of the most unusual sights of the Aegean.
On board the day follows an easy rhythm of breakfast on deck, a sail, a swim and a quiet evening at anchor or on the quay. It is a holiday for those who enjoy being the crew of their own boat, with the freedom to stay longer where the place deserves it.
Itinerary
Day1
Boarding in Kos and Kefalos Bay
Boarding takes place at Marina Kos at 17:00. After settling into the cabins and a briefing at the base, the catamaran leaves the harbour and, time permitting, heads west along the south coast of Kos to the wide bay of Kefalos, with long beaches and clear water for a first swim and dinner on board.
Day2
Kefalos to Nisyros
The route crosses the open channel south to Nisyros, a round volcanic island with steep green slopes. The boat reaches the small harbour of Pali, with tavernas on the waterfront, where the night is spent.
Day3
Nisyros to Tilos
After a morning ashore, or a walk toward the crater, the catamaran sails on to Tilos and the harbour of Livadia, a quiet village at the head of a long sandy bay with a few tavernas along the beach.
Day4
A day on Tilos
A slow day on Tilos, with time to swim from the beach, walk ashore or move to one of the quieter anchorages along the coast. The island is green, rural and far from the crowds, so evenings are calm and the sky is clear.
Day5
Tilos to Yali and Nisyros
Leaving Tilos, the route returns north and stops at the small island of Yali, known for its white pumice beaches and clear shallow water, for a long swim. The night is spent back on Nisyros, at Pali or the harbour of Mandraki.
Day6
Nisyros to Kardamena
A last morning on Nisyros, then the catamaran sails north to Kos and the beach resort of Kardamena, a lively contrast after the quiet islands, with a long beach, restaurants and bars along the waterfront.
Day7
Back to Kos and disembarkation
The final sail leads back to Marina Kos, reached on Friday afternoon. The boat is prepared for return, the last night is spent on board and disembarkation takes place the following morning at 09:00.

A spacious, comfortable catamaran for families and groups of friends, with a large cockpit for shared meals and cabins with their own bathroom.
Life on board happens in the large cockpit, shaded by the bimini and set around a convertible table, with the saloon opening onto the deck so that cooking, dining and relaxing flow together. Air conditioning on board makes the hottest hours easy to enjoy, while the generator and water maker keep daily life comfortable at anchor.
The boat has twelve berths in total, ten of them in the four double cabins and the two bow compartments and the rest on the convertible saloon table, so a group of friends or two families can travel together without crowding. Each double cabin has its own bathroom.
Twin hulls give a steady, stable ride and plenty of space on deck to stretch out, swim from the platform and spend the day outdoors.
