A one week sailing holiday from Palma along the southern coast of Mallorca, with swims at Cala Pi and Es Trenc and two nights in the protected waters of the Cabrera archipelago.
This one week cruise starts from Palma, the capital of Mallorca, and heads south to the quiet coast of Llucmajor, the long beach of Es Trenc and the Cabrera archipelago. The route follows the southern shore of the island and then crosses to the national park, in a looping itinerary that combines open water with short and easy passages.
Distances are moderate, between eight and twenty five nautical miles a day, with the crossing to Cabrera as the longest passage. Two nights at Cabrera leave a full day to explore the park, and the other days keep a relaxed rhythm with time to swim, snorkel and read on deck.
The scenery changes from pale limestone cliffs and watchtowers to the wide sands of Es Trenc and the bare, protected hills of Cabrera. Anchorages are clear and sandy in typical summer conditions, and the water around the archipelago is among the most transparent in the western Mediterranean.
Ashore, the route offers the fishing harbour of Colònia de Sant Jordi, the salt flats of Ses Salines and the castle of Cabrera, with simple restaurants serving fresh fish along the way. In Palma the cathedral and the old town are a short walk from the base.
On board the day follows an easy rhythm: breakfast on deck, a morning sail, a swim before lunch and a quiet evening under the stars. It is a holiday for friends or family who enjoy being the crew of their own boat while reaching a different anchorage almost every night.
Itinerary
Day1
Boarding in Palma and Cala Blava
Boarding takes place at the marina in the heart of Palma, facing the cathedral and the old town. After settling into the cabins and a safety briefing, the boat leaves the harbour and sails east across the Bay of Palma to Cala Blava, a quiet anchorage at the foot of low cliffs, for a first swim and dinner on board.
Day2
Cala Blava to Cala Pi
The route follows the cliffs of the Llucmajor coast toward the south of the island. The day ends in Cala Pi, a narrow inlet cut into the limestone with a small white beach, a watchtower on the headland and very clear water.
Day3
Cala Pi to Es Trenc
A short sail leads along the southern shore to Es Trenc, a long beach of pale sand and shallow turquoise water that is one of the best known in Mallorca. The boat anchors off the beach, with the salt flats of Ses Salines behind it, for a long swim and an easy afternoon.
Day4
Colònia de Sant Jordi and Crossing to Cabrera
A morning stop in the fishing village of Colònia de Sant Jordi, with its harbour and seafront cafés, is followed by the crossing to the Cabrera archipelago, the national park island south of Mallorca. The boat enters the sheltered natural harbour of Cabrera, surrounded by bare hills and the old castle. The park requires an advance mooring authorization, which the crew should request before departure.
Day5
Cabrera National Park
A full day in the protected waters of Cabrera. Walk up to the castle for views over the whole archipelago, swim or snorkel in the clear bays and explore the coast by dinghy, including the cave known as the Blue Grotto. The night is spent in the harbour under one of the darkest skies of the Balearics.
Day6
Cabrera to Cala Pi
The boat leaves the archipelago and sails back to the coast of Mallorca, reaching Cala Pi again in the afternoon. A final swim in the inlet and a quiet evening close the stay on the southern coast.
Day7
Back to Palma and Disembarkation
The last sail runs along the Llucmajor cliffs and across the Bay of Palma, with the skyline of the cathedral growing closer. The boat returns to the base in Palma on Friday afternoon, the last night is spent on board and disembarkation takes place the following morning.

Below deck, four double cabins and three bathrooms give each group of guests their own space. The saloon and galley are bright and practical, and the boat is easy to manoeuvre thanks to its bow thruster and chart plotter at the helm.
A water maker, solar panels and an inverter keep life on board comfortable at anchor, while the dinghy makes it simple to reach the shore. The boat can sleep eight guests in total, all in the four guest cabins.
