Your sailing trip
A week of cabin charter sailing from Skradin through Northern Dalmatia, with Krka National Park, the Kornati islands and the stone towns of Šibenik, Primošten and Trogir along the way.
This cruise starts and ends in Skradin, in Northern Dalmatia, and explores one of the most varied stretches of the Croatian coast. Within a single week the route links a national park of waterfalls, the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James in Šibenik, a string of quiet bays and the wild Kornati archipelago.
The route runs from Skradin to Šibenik, Primošten and Murter, continues to the Kornati islands and reaches Trogir before the boat returns to its base. It stays flexible and is adjusted to the weather and the wishes of the group. The islands lie close together, so the days combine sailing with plenty of time in the water and ashore.
Anchorages are set in clear Adriatic water, with pine-fringed beaches, small coves and quiet bays. The Kornati are a national park of 89 islands without a single settlement, and a night at anchor there means a very dark sky full of stars.
Ashore, Šibenik offers the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James and St Michael's Fortress above the rooftops, Primošten has stone alleys and vineyards on the hills, Murter has small konobas serving the local catch and Trogir is known for its Venetian architecture right by the old walls.
Life on board is relaxed and sociable. The group shares the days at sea, can take part in sailing the boat if it wishes and enjoys evenings at anchor or in port.

Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light, but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? Read our full guide: What to pack in a suitcase for a yacht charter
Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor, ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience? Discover more in our guide: What's a typical day like on a sailing holiday?
When the sea gets rough, skippers adjust the route for your safety. Expect protected bays, marina stops, or a change in plan. These moments often lead to unexpected gems: local towns to explore, time to relax on board, or cozy dinners ashore. Curious about how crews handle these changes?
