A one week catamaran holiday from Rhodes to Lindos, the quiet islands of Chalki and Tilos and the pastel harbour of Symi, with time to swim and easy evenings at anchor.
This one week cruise starts from Rhodes New Marina and sails down the east coast to Lindos before heading west to the small islands of Chalki and Tilos and returning by way of Symi. The route is a loop, so the boat is back at the base on the last day without any long transfer.
The days are easy to plan around, with time for a swim and a slow evening at anchor. The wide decks and the stable platform of a catamaran suit families, groups of friends and crews who prefer swimming and exploring ashore to long days under sail.
The scenery moves from the white village of Lindos under its ancient acropolis to the quiet, almost car free harbour of Chalki, the green valleys and long sandy bay of Tilos and the pastel houses of Symi. Away from the busiest routes, the anchorages feel calm and uncrowded. In summer the meltemi can blow strong in the afternoon, so the route leaves room to choose the more protected bay on the day. Swimming is at its best from late spring to early autumn, while the cooler months of spring and late autumn suit those who prefer a fresher, quieter week.
Ashore, the cruise offers small harbour villages with tavernas on the quay, simple local food and unhurried evenings, with the choice of a livelier night in Symi at the end of the week.
On board the day follows an easy rhythm of breakfast on deck, a sail, a swim and a quiet evening at anchor or on the quay. It is a holiday for those who enjoy being the crew of their own boat, with the freedom to stay longer where the place deserves it.
Itinerary
Day1
Boarding in Rhodes and the east coast
Boarding takes place at Rhodes New Marina at 17:00. After settling into the cabins and a briefing at the base, the catamaran leaves the harbour and, time permitting, sails a short way down the east coast of Rhodes to a sheltered bay for a first swim and dinner on board.
Day2
Rhodes to Lindos
A sail down the sunny east coast of Rhodes leads to Lindos, where a white village climbs the rock beneath the ancient acropolis. The small round bay of St Paul, beside the headland, is a classic place to swim and spend the night at anchor.
Day3
Lindos to Chalki
The route leaves Rhodes behind and heads west to the small island of Chalki. The harbour of Emporio is a quiet village of restored mansions and waterfront tavernas, with almost no traffic and a slow, local rhythm.
Day4
Chalki to Tilos
From Chalki the route continues west to Tilos, a green and rural island far from the busiest charter routes. The boat comes in at Livadia, at the head of a long sandy bay, with a few tavernas along the beach and a calm evening on the quay.
Day5
A day on Tilos
A slow day on Tilos, with time to swim from the beach, walk ashore through the quiet countryside or move to one of the smaller anchorages along the coast. The island is calm and clear, a good place to unwind before the last stretch of the week.
Day6
Tilos to Symi
The catamaran sails north and east to Symi, one of the most photogenic harbours of the Aegean, with pastel neoclassical houses stacked around the bay. The night is spent in Gialos or in the quieter bay of Pedi, with lively tavernas ashore.
Day7
Symi back to Rhodes and disembarkation
The final sail leads back across the open water to Rhodes New Marina, reached on Friday afternoon, with a last swim on the way depending on weather and time. The boat is prepared for return, the last night is spent on board and disembarkation takes place the following morning at 09:00.

A spacious, modern catamaran with generous living areas, built for comfortable family and friends holidays with plenty of room on deck and below.
Broad decks, a large cockpit and a bright saloon give this recent catamaran the feel of a floating villa. Four double cabins are spread across the two hulls, so every couple has its own space, and four guest bathrooms mean there is no queue in the morning. A separate cabin with its own bathroom is reserved for the crew.
Comfort is part of the design: air conditioning, a generator and watermaker for long stays at anchor, an ice maker for cold drinks and a coffee maker for slow mornings. Electric winches keep sail handling easy for small crews, and a dinghy with outboard makes beach landings simple.
The boat sleeps up to ten people, with eight berths in the four guest cabins.
