Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, the Swan 65 was produced by the Nautor shipyard in Pietarsaari in Finland since 1972 and the Force 9 represents the exemplary number 009.
The shipyard stopped production of the Swan 65 in 1989.
This model is considered by the experts the "Rolls Royce of sailing boats", nevertheless between 1973 and 1974 one Swan 65 won the most demanding and difficult regatta around the world, the "Whitbread Around the World Race", the current Volvo Ocean Race, with a journey of over 27,000 nautical miles.
The luxurious onboard atmosphere and the combination of classic elegance and modern photo-11-02-17-18-09-55-1portiveness make the Swan 65, designed by S & S and produced by Nautor, one of the sailboats safer, comfortable, elegant and quick, never built.
The exterior design follows and marries the sports line of the great racers of that era and, for the first time, proves to be both performing and elegant.
The genius of the project together with the solidity of the construction still makes the Swan 65 the ideal choice for those who want to go by sea; the safety, comfort and elegance that distinguish it, make every day on board an unforgettable memory.
