A circular sailing holiday from Trogir through the southern Dalmatian archipelago, combining the historic walled towns of Vis and Korčula with the protected landscapes of Lastovo Nature Park, the saltwater lakes of Mljet and the pine-covered anchorages of the Pakleni Islands.
The cruise departs from Trogir, a UNESCO-listed coastal town connected to the mainland by a bridge and one of the most historically layered departure points on the Adriatic coast, and follows a circular route south and east through the central and southern Dalmatian islands before returning north at the end of the week.
Navigation alternates between longer open water crossings on the southward legs and shorter coastal passages on the return, with daily distances kept comfortable enough to leave time for a midday swimming stop and an unhurried afternoon arrival at each destination. The crossing to Lastovo is the longest of the week and brings the route into some of the least-visited sailing grounds in Croatian waters.
The northern section of the route covers Šolta and Vis, two islands with very different characters. Šolta, close to Split, is known for its pine-framed inlet at Maslinica and a quiet fishing village atmosphere. Vis, once closed to foreign visitors due to its military history until 1989, has had less time than most Dalmatian islands to adapt to tourism and still carries a genuinely local rhythm in both Vis Town and Komiža on its western side.
Moving south, Korčula adds the most architecturally dense stop of the week, with medieval walls, narrow stone streets and Venetian architecture concentrated on a small peninsula that has drawn comparisons to a smaller Dubrovnik. Lastovo Nature Park offers a sharp contrast, with dense forest, isolated coves and almost no coastal development, while Mljet, often described as the greenest island in Croatia, protects much of its western end as a national park, with two saltwater lakes and pine-covered walking trails.
The Pakleni Islands on the return leg bring the week back to a more social register, with sheltered coves and turquoise water within easy reach of Hvar Town, before the final sail north to Trogir closes the circuit where it began.
Itinerary
Day1
Boarding in Trogir and First Sail to Šolta
Boarding takes place in Trogir during the afternoon, with time to settle into the cabins, complete the check-in formalities and review the route for the week ahead. The first navigation heads toward Šolta Island, with a swimming stop in the sheltered waters of Šešula Bay before continuing to Maslinica, a small fishing village surrounded by pine forest and stone houses. The night is spent at anchor or in the marina at Maslinica.
Day2
Šolta to Vis
The route continues south toward Vis, one of Croatia's most distinctive islands, with conditions often allowing for a relaxed swimming stop in an open bay along the way. Arrival is planned in either Vis Town or Komiža on the western side depending on weather and harbor availability. Optional excursions include the Blue Cave on nearby Biševo Island or Fort George above Vis Town for wide views over the archipelago. The evening atmosphere in Vis is lively but still genuinely local, with waterfront restaurants and small bars.
Day3
Vis to Korčula
After breakfast, the route heads further south toward Korčula in one of the longer crossings of the week, with open sea sailing and wide views approaching the island. Korčula Town is known for its medieval walls, narrow stone streets and Venetian architecture concentrated on a small peninsula. The afternoon is free to explore the old town, visit local wine bars or swim near the islets surrounding the harbor. The evening is suited to a walk through the historic center and dinner by the waterfront.
Day4
Korčula to Lastovo
Navigation toward Lastovo brings the route into one of the least populated and most protected areas in Croatia. Lastovo Nature Park is defined by dense forest, isolated coves and very limited coastal development. The boat anchors in Skrivena Luka or Zaklopatica Bay depending on conditions, with the day given over to hiking, snorkeling and a quieter rhythm than any earlier stop of the week. Local restaurants in Zaklopatica are known for lobster and fresh seafood from the surrounding waters.

Lastovo to Mljet
A shorter navigation leads to Mljet, often described as the greenest island in Croatia, with much of its western end protected as a national park of saltwater lakes, pine forest and walking trails. The calm atmosphere of Mljet makes this one of the most relaxed days of the week, with time for kayaking, paddleboarding or cycling through the park area. The evening is spent at anchor in a protected bay surrounded by nature.
Day6
Mljet to the Pakleni Islands
The return route heads north toward the Pakleni Islands, a small archipelago of pine-covered islets just off the coast of Hvar, known for hidden coves and turquoise water accessible mainly by boat. The afternoon is dedicated to swimming and snorkeling at anchor, with the option of taking a water taxi to Hvar Town for dinner or a walk through the old harbor before returning to a quieter anchorage among the islands for the night.
Day7
Pakleni Islands to Trogir and Last Night on Board
A morning sail heads north back toward Trogir, with a last swimming stop along the route depending on weather and timing. Arrival in Trogir allows time to explore the UNESCO-listed medieval town, including the waterfront promenade, Kamerlengo Fortress and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, before the final evening on board. Disembarkation takes place the following morning after breakfast.
