Your sailing trip
A one-way week of sailing from Trogir to Dubrovnik along the Dalmatian coast, linking Brač, Hvar, Korčula and Mljet National Park with the walled harbor towns, pine-covered islands and quiet bays of southern Croatia.
The cruise departs from Trogir, a short drive from Split Airport, and follows a one-way route south along the Dalmatian coast before ending in Dubrovnik at the end of the week. Traveling in a single direction allows the itinerary to cover more of the Dalmatian archipelago without returning along the same route, which makes this one of the most varied sailing weeks available on the Croatian Adriatic.
Daily sailing distances stay short to medium, generally between fifteen and twenty-five nautical miles, with a midday anchorage for swimming and lunch at the center of each day. A professional skipper handles navigation and adapts the route each morning to wind, weather and the mood of the group.
The islands along the route carry distinct characters. Brač opens the week with a first quiet anchorage in the fishing village of Bobovišća. Hvar brings the most animated evening of the week, with the Pakleni Islands just offshore offering pine-covered coves and clear water for swimming before the approach to the town. Korčula, often described as a smaller Dubrovnik for its medieval walls and red roof skyline, adds the most architecturally concentrated stop between Split and the final destination.
Mljet, one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic, protects much of its western end as a national park, with two saltwater lakes surrounded by pine forest and a twelfth-century Benedictine monastery on a small island in the center of the larger lake. The Elaphiti Islands, just northwest of Dubrovnik, bring the week to a quieter close before the final approach to the city.
The arrival in Dubrovnik from the sea, with the UNESCO-listed city walls rising above the harbor entrance, is one of the most memorable moments of the Adriatic sailing season. This sailing itinerary can also be completed in the reverse direction.
Life on board depends on the yacht class. Depending on the yacht class, you may find private or shared bathrooms, air conditioning or natural ventilation, and meals prepared by a host or by the guests themselves. The boat description and the Included and Not included lists on this page show exactly what each yacht offers. In the Boats available section at the bottom of the page you can compare the other boats on this route and switch to a different one, depending on dates and availability. If you prefer a different style of week on the same route, you can also compare the Split to Dubrovnik Explorer cruise.

Yacht - Economy Catamaran 38–40 ft
Economy Catamaran for an Island Hopping flotilla week, designed for guests aged 18 to 35.
The Economy Catamaran offers one of the most affordable ways to experience a cabin charter sailing holiday in Croatia, ideal for travelers who want to explore the Dalmatian islands without the cost of luxury yachts. Typically ranging between 38 and 42 feet, these catamarans provide a simple and social way to sail the Adriatic, combining island-hopping adventures with a relaxed flotilla atmosphere.
Yachts in this category are assigned by the operator, meaning the exact catamaran model may vary depending on the departure date and sailing route. However, all boats share the same essential setup and level of comfort. Cabins are double, with shared bathrooms and no onboard air conditioning, creating a more communal environment that keeps the price accessible while still offering everything needed for a memorable sailing journey along the Croatian coast.
Life onboard is designed with young travelers aged 18–35 in mind, combining sailing, swimming, and social moments throughout the week. Guests usually travel as part of a flotilla sailing experience in Croatia, where multiple yachts follow the same route through the Dalmatian islands. Crews often meet during sunset raft-ups, shared anchorages, or casual group dinners in seaside villages along the itinerary.
Each catamaran includes a professional skipper responsible for navigation and daily sailing operations, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the experience even without previous sailing knowledge. Breakfast and shared lunch provisions are supplied for the week: guests prepare their meals together in the galley and bring their own drinks and snacks. Days alternate between swimming stops, island visits and short scenic sails between destinations such as Hvar, Korčula, Mljet and Dubrovnik. Equipment like SUP boards and snorkeling gear is available to explore the clear Adriatic waters, hidden coves, and quiet bays that define many Croatia sailing itineraries.
The Economy Catamaran is especially suited for backpackers, groups of friends, and couples looking for a budget-friendly way to experience an Adriatic catamaran cruise. It focuses on the essentials of sailing travel: island discovery, turquoise water swim stops, lively evenings with fellow travelers, and the freedom of exploring the Croatian coast by sea.

Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience? Summer sailing holidays rarely face major weather issues but when the sea gets rough, skippers adjust the route for your safety. Expect protected bays, marina stops, or a change in plan. These moments often lead to unexpected gems: local towns to explore, time to relax on board, or cozy dinners ashore. Curious about how crews handle these changes?
